I don't think that most of the "negative criticism" come at Mosley as a boxer. He has a great career and a sure HOF. I beleive that most of his recent "criticism" comes as a result of him talking about other fighters and how the are achieving what he hasn't achieve recently, a big Mega Fight, with lots of money involved even though i agree he does deserve that type of fight.

But don't criticize others for achieving what you actually want to achieve.

If he does beats Clottey and when the smoke clears out from the Pacman, JMM, PBF and Cotto mini tournament there will be no more way to run but towards Mosley for a big Payday. And i see this probably for summer of 2010 and there Mosley can probably get what he deserves.

No, Collazo was offered a rematch and turned it down - see here.

Mosley can't blame these boxers for getting what he wants while fighting other fighters that will provide them more money than fighting him and probably with less risk.
He can't go around claiming Cotto is ducking him because Cotto gave him a chance at his title already.
He can't go around claiming PBF is ducking him because several years earlier it was PBF calling out Mosley and it was Mosley who refused to fight him.
In Pacman's case Cotto will bring more to the table with less risk than him fighting Cotto while he adjust to these bigger oponents.

If he in fact is boxer not interested in money just a "fighter" (like he said these other fighters were not) he would had accepted to fight Paul Williams, Clottey, Berto without considering what considering what he was getting paid for. Not that i say he should.

Does he deserves the big fights??? Yes
Does he deserves the big paydays??? Yes
Has he been a gentlemen of the sport??? Abosolutely
But don't call out others for achieving what he hasn't be able to do in these days.

I wouldn't say he's whining but he's has criticized others for having his same perspective in search for big fights, and that's what probably has people criticizing him.

All good points ma dude, but alot of boxers do far worse **** or display a helluva lot more levels of hypocracy and don't get half the hate mosley is gettin lately. I mean just look at lyle's article as a front page article on boxing scene just slammin tha dude, like it was personal or somethin (dude hatin so much he must look like he chokin on a chicken bone like fab said)

i still don't see why peeps quick to judge just for him now. I mean it ain't rocket science, dude just went thru an expensive divorce i guess, ofcourse i would expect him to be desperate for money, so what? doesn't deserve to have his character assassinated. I think some people just salty their favorite boxer was crushed by mosley at some point....ie..vargas, marg lovers...when mosley lost to forrest i ain't hate on the man, he became one of my favorites as well. Just chalk it up to these fan boys i guess...

Good info, i had heard somethin about that but never saw the actual articles. I mean who knows, maybe the offer they gave him was insulting, it happens, he has earned his stripes and deserves better negotiating power, especially after being robbed of that decision....i wouldn't go so far as to say he turned it down just cause, the man had a reason i'm sure.

Yeah, Lyle kind of went to far specially on his title like saying "just go way". Base on Mosley's performance against Margarito he demonstrated that he still can offer alot to the sport and the fans and he should not "just go away".

I also agree that others have done worst than just probably picking the wrong way to say what he said about the other fighters, which by the way it's just his point of view and didn't insult nobody, backing up our comments of him being a gentlemen of the sport and is also not enough reason to generate hate towards the guy.

I truelly wish that he does beat Clottey and then get a Mega fight before he retires, not because I like him but because he deserves it and beleive me that I will be cheering for him (unless it's Cotto for obvious reasons) because he does has enough skills to have a chance to beat anyone in the WW division and he is one of the true good guys also.

Well the article says that Collazo was offered the same money for the rematch as he'd been paid for the first fight, but that he was demanding more money for the rematch.

LOL, i guess he just priced himself out of that fight, damn shame. Atleast he will stay busy and fight that guy i have never heard of later this year for an interim belt, so hopefully he will finally get some belt before he is knocked back down to journey man status just there to test new champs comin up....
