Mission accomplished. There are more threads and more buzz for this fight now than ever should have been. I've seen it on mainstream sports news and I had two friends who don't follow boxing send me links to videos of the scuffle. Their follow up questions were "Is Plant any good?" and "Should I get the fight on PPV?"

Caleb looked goofy as hell when he got pushed backwards. When he swung, Canelo's reaction was extremely cat-like. Idk why Caleb decided to swing without taking off his glasses first. Did he think Canelo wouldn't swing back, or that even if he did, he'd be able to see it coming with shades on? I said b4, Caleb is slick but not Pernell, Lights Out Toney, or Mayweather level slick. And his face has been busted up in previous fights. He cuts and swells and has shown b4 that he has somewhat tender skin. A fighter has to be able to avoid Canelo's shots all night long, because he doesn't need to land many to do major damage. Caleb has to be thinking now that Canelo is very sharp and fast to be able to.counter him that way. He also now must have a good sense of how physically strong Canelo is, based on the shove

By Sean Jones: Teofimo Lopez says he’s NOT going to be moving off the scheduled October 4th date to October 16th as Triller wants him to do for his title defense against IBF mandatory George Kambsoso Jr.

Triller Fight Club CEO Ryan Kavanaugh wants to move the Teofimo vs. Kambosos Jr. fight after discovering that the Oakland Raiders vs. San Diego Chargers NFL game is taking place on October 4th on Monday night.

Not surprisingly, Kavanaugh doesn’t want the Teofimo – Kambosos Jr fight to compete with the Raiders-Chargers game because they would end up losing many pay-per-view buys in going head to head with those two popular NFL teams.

What’s unclear is why Kavanaugh scheduled IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO lightweight champion Teofimo’s title defense against the little-known Kambosos on the same date as the Raiders-Chargers game.

Did Kavanaugh check the schedule for different sporting events on the October 4th date before moving the Teofimo vs. Kambosos Jr. fight to that date? If not, why didn’t he check?

“Just spoke with Teofimo Lopez, who tells me his title fight with George Kambosos Jr. isn’t moving off Oct. 4 as Triller wants. The date is not changing. We’re standing firm on it … This just shows how unorganized they are.”
