It would be hilarious if AJ signs with sky, DAZN may as well just quit boxing if that happens. That is what they get for investing a billion in Eddie Hearn nothing but red ink and embarrassment.

You reckon it was a 6 or 7 fight deal? At, what, $100M?

That would be about 20 years worth of fights for Fury.

AJ - Matchroom (extremely low percentage cut) and self-managed.

Mayweather - Al Haymon, Schaefer and Ellerbe

Fury - Arum, Warren and MTKGlobal

Wilder - Al Haymon, Shelley, Di Bella (sacked) and his coach

          So who’s the smart one?

            It’s 5 or 6 fights (I’m leaning towards 6).

He has fought Schwarz, Wallin and Wilder already on the deal.

When is Fury's ESPN Contract up? Was it a five fight deal? Well that means he's got one more at ESPN after Wilder.
To be fair I could be getting a bit lost in this whole thing, I was under the impression matchroom was fully converted over to dazn and this signing ment he would go also.

I don't see fury signing for hearn, he's got too big of an ego to play second fiddle to aj. If he re signs with top rank or showtime I don't think they will do business with dazn because they want it to fail so badly. Obviously if aj signing with matchroom has nothing do with dazn it's still possible tho .

He's a liar, who only cares about nuthugging AJ here. Fury signed a 5 fight deal and it was announced everywhere when it was signed. This Fury- Wilder 3 will be his fourth fight on ESPN/Top Rank contract.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. They work well together and he's become one of the biggest names in the sport.

In the UK and Ireland, Sky have exclusive rights to the whole card. DAZN will be showing it in the US and all the other countries they operate in.

Joshua's new deal with Matchroom will probably not be that dissimilar to Canelo's, in that its a promotional not a network deal, I believe Dillian Whyte has a similar deal, although Joshua's is obviously longer term.

For boxers the stature of Canelo and Joshua it makes sense, they get Matchroom to put the shows on and easy access to dazn money for worldwide broadcast when it suits, but aren't locked in to a specific network when it doesn't for the right opponent.
