DAZN can’t afford to pay him what he’ll potentially make if he were to fight, say, Fury.

And if he were to fight on control - he won’t enjoy the same level of control he enjoys now. Say, he decides to go fight in China/Asia with a huge site fee - being on DAZN would block that. He’s the cash cow and he needs flexibility to maximise his earnings.

Signing with Matchroom is easier since it’s just a promotional deal. All the fighters he signed also fight on Matchroom cards.

Did Fury-AJ or AJ-Wilder happen? No. The negotiations fell apart.

Is Fury-Wilder about to happen for the third time? Yes. Negotiations were successful three times.

It’s clear who the problem is. Wake up.

Since Matchroom is now exclusively on DAZN and AJ is signed to Matchroom, does that not mean he will be on DAZN? Yes he has a contract with Sky but Matchroom cards will be on DAZN not Sky from now on. How is that supposed to work? Matchroom didn't renew the contract with Sky yet AJ still has a contract with them. It should be interesting to see how this plays out.

AJ should have went it alone, hire a stooge like Leonard Ellerbe and shape YOUR own career.
That's easier said than done. Not sure if Joshua has the business acumen for that.

Will Sky just show the main event this weekend while DAZN shows the whole card?

Yes, that third negotiation worked like a charm!

That's a ridiculous comment, considering Wilder himself has admitted he would have made more money fighting AJ than Fury, and the fact that Hearn - despite being handicapped by the covid fuck-up - negotiated a deal that would have earned Fury and AJ over $100million each to unify their title belts. It wasn't Hearn's fault that that senile old prick Arum had allowed Fury to be tied up in a never-ending rematch of a rematch clause for a fight that nobody but Wilder fanboys wants to see..

AJ's fights are not included in the Matchroom/DAZN deal.

Would Wilder have made more money fighting AJ than he got for fighting Fury? YES.

Did Fury want to accept Hearn's offer to fight AJ in SA? YES, but he was prevented from doing so by the ineptitude of his own promoter.

Did it take a legal case and an order from a judge to force Fury, against his will, to fight Wilder for a third time? YES.

So much for your successful negotiations.

The theory is they will still run the BT Sport channel and could potentially put AJ ppvs on there (maybe). The BT Sport would then be DAZN on BT to get all the stuff you'd have to use the app like the interactive button on SKy,

It also sounds like they have a deal with the BBC for a highlights package maybe that will now be Matchroom + Queensbury.
