Well that makes Fury-AJ and AJ-Wilder far less likely. Hearn has consistently proved inept during negotiations.
AJ should have went it alone, hire a stooge like Leonard Ellerbe and shape YOUR own career.Comment

Hopefully he beats Usyk to cement his position.
With this news there is no way DAZN let him go onto Sky Sports again, they will put up the money for his next fight on DAZN UK.Comment

Based on what? It’s idiot comments like this that spread misinformation. Wilder’s own guy Dibella tried to make the fight and got fired for it. That tells you all you need to know. Do your damn research.

Stop. That poster is about the most fair minded one on the board. Hes right, Olafemi should have his own promotional company and hire a competent executive to run it that way he is in more control of his career. This signing away careers to promoters is the old way. And he is again right that Hearn was the problem in making wilder vs Olafemi. Wilder and fury made their first fight in no time flat abs at the time fury even stated how easy it was to work with wilder’s people. However if one worships at the alter of young Edward then this is all for naught.Comment

Pretty sure career long contracts are illegal in America.
Not saying it's a bad move, everyone knows Eddie cares about Joshua's career. I just reckon it's illegal and all Josh has to do to break it is go stateside, should that ever come up.Comment

Why didn’t Hearn do a GREAT job to build up other fighters? Does his GREAT touch work only on one boxer?
It’s more than loyalty - AJ helped build Matchroom to where it’s and all the boxers fighting on his promotional company fight on Matchroom cards. So it’s the best business move for him to make since he has 3-4 yrs left before he retires.Comment
