I think this is a great fight between two top guys with great resumes.
I don't know why the Wilder and Fury crowd feel the need to take any excuse to have a pop, those guys kept us waiting for 20 months, and they have their turn in a couple of weeks so why not just enjoy a good match of boxing this weekend?
You are going to either have a unified 3 belt champ who used to be the undisputed cruiserweight champion too, and will have a real argument to be "the guy", and will certainly be P4P the best in the division, otherwise you have a guy who's really bounced back from his loss and is starting to build a legacy resume and can sit and wait for the winner of the fight in 3 weeks.
Appreciate the good fight boys, hate don't lead you nowhere good.Last edited by Frankie Coffeecake; 09-21-2021, 06:40 AM.Comment

Fury has combined 51 months of inactivity on his record since he beat Wladamir, if he or his fans feel someone "stole his thunder", who's fault is that? Donald Trumps fault? Anti vaxers fault? Eddie Hearn? Anthony Joshua? The BBC?
I don't know, all I know is blame anyone but Fury.Last edited by Frankie Coffeecake; 09-21-2021, 06:44 AM.Comment

well maybe before criticising you should actually watch his fights then. Yes we know you hate the fact that people put Joshua before fury and wilder and in your opinion you disagree, but that doesn’t change his deep resume and that usyk is another tough opponent. People will use the excuse “he was always going to be too small” if he wins but that’s just how boxing goes, people can always find a reason after the event. I haven’t seen anyone calling out usyk, fury himself has commented how he believes usyk could be the toughest fight in the division.

Go back through any of the threads now and do a tally of people saying Usyk is too small, just to keep in mind for after the fight. There's a couple, but most are saying that it's crooked judges that will win AJ the fight. So if he wins cleanly I'm expecting a lot of credit to be given?
Or am I naieve.Comment

Until he beats Wilder or Fury, he'll never be the man.

Suck off Usyk all you want, but his best result in the division is going life and death with an ancient shot Chisora.Comment

This is the big issue for me about fury. He has fought only two men in his career. He claims he is the man to beat but then look at his record… he could easily have been stopped by Wallin and was knocked down by Cunningham. Now if his resume was really deep you would call them events curve balls but since the beginning of 2016, so almost six full years now, he has fought six fights and 4 of them have been against opponents people hadn’t heard of before the announcement of the fight.

If he wants to be known as an all time great then he needs to fight multiple of Joshua, Usyk, Parker, Whyte, Ruiz, Ortiz. At the moment he has Wilder who he’s beaten and drawn against, klitschko and then a huge drop to chisora who he last fought almost a decade ago!Comment

Chisora under Buddy McGirt looked far better then any previous Version of Chisora. Only reason it was somewhat competitive was Chisora was allowed to illegally hold and hit and use repeated low blows to Usyk but his boxing was levels above what we usually saw . Usyk still controlled him and made Chisora look amateurish well beyond mid rounds .Last edited by REDEEMER; 09-21-2021, 06:56 AM.Comment
