Well, I think Showtime Espinoza tried and still trying, but other forces
coming from you know where are resistant to things he wanted to implement.

Showtime has added Bellator in their sports programming, if that is not an ominous sign.
Which hardcore boxing commentators like Bernstein reluctantly also cover.

yet another network who loved boxing getting destroyed by al haymon and company. a guy who has been in the game 20 years with no stated vision, never hear or see him,but hes somehow just so influential

add to the long list of networks that PBC/haymon has soured on boxing:

      HBO
      ABC
      NBC
      CBS
      Spike
      Bounce

not even PBC defenders like FOX so add that too

When HBO left boxing, I felt like it was only a matter of time before Showtime followed them. Not something I was cheering for, I would never celebrate less boxing content or boxing failing regardless of the network or promotional banner.

Although Showtime still around the ratings suck and are v much worse. They can easily leave at any time.
