What do you think we’ve all been doing for the last two years, Paunchy? Where has it gotten us? The worlds’ economies have been devastated not because of a virus but because of the insane reaction to it. You imply that so-called anti-Vaxxers selfishly and stubbornly ignore scientific facts, but do you really think we’ve been following the science on this? Two years on you seriously believe that? The governments of the world are the ones ignoring facts (e.g. natural immunity, impact on young, healthy people) about this and, incredulously, a still large segment of the population still believes them.

It’s been well-established that the high rate of hospitalizations in some areas is directly attributable to hysteria. The vast majority of people who have been admitted to hospitals have minor symptoms, but because of the media-fomented hysteria people are losing their minds at the idea that they might melt away and die from this. Unless they are 90 years old, diabetic or have emphysema, of course, they really don’t have much to worry about, do they? If this virus isn’t killing even 1% of the people who get it and virtually none who are healthy , why are you acting like it’s airborne Ebola? The truth is that this whole event could not have happened 25 years ago because, more than anything else, this is just another phenomenon of the Internet and in the future it will be studied as such. In five years time when this has become recorded history you will not admit to having lost your mind over this. 2. Killed more Americans then the #1 war (Civil War), or more than US's deadliest wars #2-10 combined (WW1, WW2, Vietnam, etc)
3. From Jan-April COVID was killing 60% of Americans - all other deaths 40%. 7700 deaths US per day in 2019, during this time COVID was killing 4400 per day.
4. I dont know a single soul that went to the hospital for a flu in my entire life, I know many that died and many hospitalized from COVID.
5. Outside of Civil War, this was the only other time in US history that hospitals were on the brink failure.
6. COVID survivors 6 months after that I know still feel symptoms.
7. If you think the mortality rate is low for vaccines is low, its terribly low for vaccine deaths - DO NOT USE percentages of martility when talking about COVID deaths if you're anti-vax, because 187M got vaccinated, 6,000 died soon after (not all are vax related) - you do the math Einstein.

? Masks don't protect you personally with this virus. They are being pushed because they supposedly help to limit transmission of the virus, if someone with covid wears the mask, they say they are less likely to transmit the virus to others.

I don't understand half the **** you wrote. COVID really does seem to have rotted your mind more than it already was because you couldn't craft a coherent sentence to save your life. Your 'stats' are bull****. COVID never killed 60% of Americans. That would be nearly 200 million deaths, silly. Also, there is a difference between dying of COVID and dying with COVID. Look at the CDC mortality statistics. Look specifically at the mortality rate of people under 50. Only old and sick people die from this. Those same people would die from the flu. Stop with your insane drivel. If you want to be scared, fine. Stay in your house. Hide under your bed. Cover yourself with a giant pile of blankets and pillows if it makes you feel safe. The rest of us have sh.it to do. The sane people left on this planet cannot help the insane. Fear has overtaken them and rotted their brains. Neither can we continue coddle them and cave to their inane demands. All we can do is move forward with our lives.Comment
