Do you think its fair for doctors not to treat unvaccinated COVID patients? Or should government force them to do so? Almost all current COVID hospitalizations are unvaccinated cases, and many doctors are getting tired of treating them. Whats your opinion on this?Comment

If doctors are really getting tired of treating patients, then maybe they should find a new line of work.Comment

Doctors should do their (tremendously well-paying) job and shut the fu.ck up. It's their job to treat the sick. There is a good case for taking the vaccine for many, and a good case against it for many. People are free to make their own decisions on that.
Doctors shouldn't decline to treat people who are very overweight and can't blame them for their poor decisions, so they certainly shouldn't blame those who have a better reasoning for being unvaccinated. There is no case to be made for being fat; you can make a case for many not needing to take the vaccine.
Your point about 'gov't forcing them' is irrelevant. The gov't shouldn't force anyone to do anything; they aren't forcing doctors to treat anyone with covid now. Doctors and hospitals do want to get paid however, so they are treating patients.Comment

Our family friend was under 50 and died from it. Also I am a huge libertarian and always been a ********** my whole life - if it matters.
When it comes to COVID most people disregard numbers in perspective when they say only a small percentage dies. In comparison to other diseases it was number 1killer for a few months, outperforming heart disease which takes years to sicken. COVID kills within 2 weeks of exposure. Heart diseases, cancers, etcs take years to kill.
Furthermore, from the tone of your comments, you seem more terrified than anyone else.
Yes we will all die. Should we encourage hospitals to shut down?
Until we learn to respect other people, which includes their health, we can never be a society that embraces each other. I am 100% against forced vaccinations, governments have no rights to enforce that.Comment

What do you consider to be 'almost all'? What percentage is that?

- Being pro free market, I feel government should not force anyone vaccinations but at the same time hospitals that are overburdened with COVID patients should also be allowed to say if they want to treat someone or not. Many doctors staged walkouts/protests because they are stressed beyond limit and most COVID patients currently hospitalized refused to get vaccinated.Last edited by IAMTHAT; 09-20-2021, 01:30 PM.Comment

You honestly don't know what the word "libertarian" means, Mr. "Huge Libertarian." You can claim to be whatever you want, but if you promote and defend government overreach of any kind you are not a libertarian. Period. The writers of our Constitution were libertarians. Go read that, especially the 10th ********* and come back.
I never said shut downs were permissible, I never said mandated vaccines are permissible ... where did I say government should do something?Comment

- Reports of COVID-related hospitalizations among unvaccinated people range from 95% to 99.9% by state. (https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/...ns-of-dollars/)

The vaccines seem to have some efficacy in limiting the severity of covid; beyond that neither you nor I really know much else about them at this time. Israel has more vaccinated covid patients than unvaccinated right now. Getting the vaccine is not a surefire way to avoid getting sick. Not getting the vaccine is not a surefire way that you're going to get sick.
If you are old, and/or unhealthy, you will very possibly have a rough time with covid. 99.99% of everyone else is going to be fine. 99.99% of those people are also not going to get hit by a bus in the next few weeks either. That's the story. All your other BS is just that, BSLast edited by Boxing-1013; 09-20-2021, 02:26 PM.Comment
