Boxing has always been this way, I am not sure why people act as if? It is some sort of moral elitist sport.

It started in the streets, bars and pubs 'Anybody could fight as long as you had the courage to throw a punch in anger'.

200 years ago, anybody and everybody was fighting in prize fighting.

The game is still the same.

Now that does not mean, I like these events 'But this is history'.

Lets not try and make out boxing is something it is not, it is a rough, ruthless, wild west, working class sport.

Nobody cares anyway, absolutely nobody cares about who is fighting who. I have mentioned this to another poster on here, people will act differently moment to moment. Most the people on this thread 'Don't care, it is all a act', I am not falling for it.

Bowe is 54 and Odom is almost 42, had that one time where he had severe brain damage from an overdose, they thought he was going to be a vegetable.


Almost anything can happen here. The ref's of these fights I think are scared to even work them, they are all stopping them in the 1st round at the sign of any trouble. They dont want to be the ref who gets caught with a serious injury or death on their hands.


Just the other day they stopped that Thor Bjorikson fight in the 1st round when he beat up on some 46 year old who was 50 pounds smaller than him.

Also I love florida but that is not a good look at all for their boxing commission to be known as the one that will sanction anything. That only encourages more of this bullchit and all of the circus fights will get made there, increasing the risk they are the ones with eggs on their face when something bad happens.
