Who cares? And no way this fight woulda happened, even if Roach didn't also work wit Khan. He's just now winnin a title and rebuildin himself after that Prescott disaster. He's nowhere near ready for Pac. Khan woulda been killed and Pac woulda been **** on for takin that fight.

I wonder what Arum's game is? This story just makes him look silly.

The game is, after the Cotto fight, I'm pretty sure Pacquaio and Roach will split. If Khan can beat Salita, and then maybe Maidana or even Bradley, Arum knows Pacquaio vs Khan is another superfight. If you add in the Roach factor, it gets even more interesting.

          Pacquaio vs Cotto 2009
          Pacquaio vs Mayweather spring 2010?
          Pacquaio vs Khan late 2010?

Khan still needs more time to develop, but if he could beat say Salita and Bradley in his next two fights, then he should be ready to take on the best. I'm not saying he will beat the above fighters, but he has the potential to.

This is Arum trying to make Khan look important and getting his name out there. We all know the only fight he wanted to make was Cotto-Pacquiao. It brings way more money.

Yeah, I don't know anyone that even know who Khan is outside of my boxing circles. Definitely not a superfight.

Pac would beat Prescott's record of 54 seconds against Khan.

Khan vs Pacquaio would sell a 500,000 - 1,000,000 million in the UK alone. In terms of financial sense, it is a super fight. Plus if Khan beats Salita, and Maidana/Bradley on HBO, his U.S exposure would also increase hugely.

Just remember, boxing doesn't revolve around the U.S. Pacquaio vs Khan would be big in the Phillipines, and the UK.
