Unfortunately women fighters are more often than not just devoid of entertainment. I just don’t like an over abundance of pitty pat punches anand that’s what you get in women’s boxing today. I used to like seeing punchers like Ali, Rijker, Wolfe, Henin-Viet, Martin etc etc etc. Not sure why so many female fighters throw arm punches these days but I really don’t like seeing love taps for 10 rounds -
The big elephant in the room that Claressa fails to see is the fact that she dosent bring in anything near the revenue to warrant her getting a 4 million doller purse. There is no audience for her, as much as she tries to push this sexisim and racism narrative down people's throats. She just dosent sell.

How come when nobody likes something thats mainly women it’s automatically classed as sexism? I don’t watch women fights because I don’t like women fighting and don’t think they are as fun to watch as men fighting nothing to do with woman hating they just aren’t as entertaining. If she thinks there is an audience to watch her box but she is jut being underpaid because of sexism, why not self-promote? Easy money. Or maybe she knows she has no sizeable audience.

I think most fans agree with you. Hard to get paid more if you don't put ass in seats and viewership continues to decline. Is all a numbers game, and unfortunately the numbers aren't adding up for most of females sports here in the US. Hopefully now that she's going to fight more in the UK, she'll receive some of the recognition she deserves; seems like female sports as a whole have more of a financial backing than they do here.Comment

It has nothing to do with sexism, racism or whatever.
People frankly just don't care how good you are when you are fighting some housewife with a body resembling a dropped lasagne whose name nobody can pronounce from the back ar5e of nowhere!
Nobody watches your fights because they're all the same. Just you pitching shutouts over soccermoms - no knockdowns, no stoppages, no drama.
Fight and beat Savannah Marshall if you want to become a star and get paid, simple as that. Nobody cares for any boxer regardless how good they are if they can't even entertain against Taco Bell employeesComment

You tune in to a fight you want and expect drama.
Knockdowns, big shots landing, opponents getting hurt - coming back.
Too most people even the hardcore fan when a fighter is so good yet can not hurt absolutely anybody and the results always a shutout decision win it just gets tedious. The rounds all the look the same.
Its sad its like that in a way but you're just not entertaining to watch.

She doesn't bring in 10% of the attention she thinks she does. The only fight she had that gathered any attention was Hammer, as that's the only fight she has had where she wasn't a massive fav, and Hammer was unbeaten and looked decent enough for a possible test, everyone else she has fought are garbage. She has one big money-worthy fight in boxing, and that is Marshall, maybe 2 fights if there is a rematch, and Marshall beats her, I have no doubts about that and will bet £5000 on it, covering myself with the draw in case of robbery. It is genetics not sexism boxing is the worst sport for females. Females have less fast twitch muscle fibers (type 2) and narrow shoulders which is why girls punching looks so awkward. The big gloves take away what little power they have. Sports that utilize lower body strength like MMA, kickboxing, muy thai are better. MMA has small gloves.
