Like Barrios. Tank moved up. He fought a decent opponent. Yet he gets criticized.

How many guys move up and fight the top guy immediately?

Floyd, Mosley, Pacquiao, Hopkins, jones jr, just to name a few guys who fought the top guy immediately.

Tank is 27 years old. He has fought in 3 divisons without fighting the top guy in those divisons. He is cherry picking.

you build your brand by fighting the best fights possible.

Russell jr, Lopez, Haney, lomachencko, Mikey, Taylor, Regis.

Thats 7 legit ppv worthy fights for tank from 130 to 140. And he dont want any of them

      I thought so.

I get it. calling out Tank in the media, criticizing mayweather for talking about fighting only in house fights, after you avoid Haney to fight jojo Diaz, an in house gbp fight.

Using the media to take the heat off himself.

Lets see how many posters fall for this and jump in and co-sign Ryan on this.

They’re all lousy! Tank Ryan the whole lot of them minus Lopez. He fought THE TOP DOG. He didn’t just yap like a little chihuahua he fought the best and won. All the while the little soy boys run across social media whipping up their fanboi base that run to BSC and defend their girlfriends. GTFOH. The best aren’t fighting the best and while we argue amongst ourselves it gets nowhere and the promoters laugh their way to the bank each time.

Ryan, Teo, Shakur - i shake when i watch these kids live - they are nervous wrecks putting on a face as if they are confident. Like watching someone who's nervous of public speaking pretending they're not.

But IMO Ryan Garcia ends all of these jokers if he is somewhat mentally solid. In fact, my feel is that Lomachenko's career is going to be ended by Ryan, and im a Lomachenko fan.

Ryan will outgrow Tank quickly as his frame is just so much bigger. Ryan also has a higher ceiling than Tank...nonetheless theyre both good entertainment and close to must-see boxing.

People forget when a fighter is out of the gym for a long period its difficult to return and make weight. Ryan is young so he might be able to with his faster metabolism but a guy like Spence is VERY UNLIKELY to return to 147 (if at all). Spence will likely get hurt or stopped in his next fight if he fights again.

So its no guarantee Ryan returns to LW at all
Funny, right? Floyd nowwwww understands the business of promoting in-house fights and keeping most/all of the revenue. He used to talk about Bob keeping the Pacquiao fight from happening and praised Cotto for finally leaving so they could fight.

And I agree about Ryan outgrowing the division. Hell, Tank can barely make 135 and Teo's struggling as well, yet, people are still demanding these fights happen today. I'm not big on letting fights marinate but I'm also opposed to one (or both) fighters struggling to make weight in a megafight situation. Those guys that always need the towel at weigh-ins shouldn't even be mentioned in fantasy fights in that particular division. It's rarely pans out well on the scale.

I wanna see guys who can comfortably make weight before they step in the ring.

Garcia beats Davis. He can match him with speed and is probably faster. The power is there also and he’ll be in better shape.

But you can’t tell the Davis huggers that.

I totally get it and i think tank has major talent. i guess my only issue is he could of fought Prograis. I mean literally he took on the weakest "champion" in that division. He could of fought Gary Russell as well. I believe Rollies will be next for tank. i mean that does absolutely nothing for me. it could be yea they are just keeping him busy and building that resume up. Taylor, Progaris, Teofimo, Shakur, Haney, Garia.. they are all there for him.. on and Keith Thurman LOL LOL

Yeah dude those are ATG’s. How many did it in their 26th fight?

I completely disagree. He’s building his brand and has wins over Pedraza ( before Loma) and Leo and a solid win at 140 over Barrios.
