Dana is pissed because the more these events show some success and purses get announced, the more MMA fighters will be scratching their heads as to why they are making what they're making.

39 year old Woodley got $2 million dollars on a PPV that sold 500k buys.

UFC 251 - Usman vs Masvidal sold 1.3 million buys. Usman earned $640k, Masvidal earned $530k.

The winner of the headlining fight of the best selling PPV in UFC history, UFC 229 - Khabib vs McGregor, Khabib earned $2 million dollars. McGregor, the biggest cash cow in UFC history, earned just $1million more than Khabib, for a purse of $3 million dollars.

Tyrone Woodley just earned $2 million dollars in a PPV fight that does not even come to close to the top 50 best selling Boxing/UFC PPV's of all time.

So, yeah, Dana White should be mad that his fighters are all witnessing that.

Well Dana, you told everyone you were going to fix boxing, then chickened out.
Get in the ring or STFU.

Outside of Randy just holding him down for 15 mins (which would have been ******ed) that was the easiest losing outcome for Toney tbh. If he'd been in there with someone trying to make an example of him instead he could have been getting sliced up with elbows and having his arms or legs cranked hard. Randy was not that kind of guy.

You can call White a dictator all you want, but he's a benevolent one who actually gives the fans what they want.

UFC right now has the best fights to watch. No other combat sport can claim that top contenders WILL fight every month for a title, and in between these monthly events, there are Fight Night events where fighters from the top 15 duke it out to be in the next main PPV. You're lucky if boxers fight the best every 4 years, let alone every year.

As long as there's people who defend boxing's current set-up because it pays well and fights need to marinate, believing themselves to be business-savvy, boxing will continue to rot.
I'm a boxing purist, I find value and enjoyment in talent being refined against subpar competition and gradually polished up through world level, that is how you cultivate excellent skills and become a master pugilist. The developmental process is a delightful experience that only the well-informed and those of particular taste can appreciate.

The savage sloppy violence in Mix-Martial-Arts no longer impresses me, I grew up.

          lol hammer-fist, foot-stomps

Dana White is a scoundrel btw, disgraceful that a pioneer of MMA Vitor Belfort can potentially earn more money in one night in a boxing ring, than he has made in his whole career, go share your thoughts to families that have loved ones in a comma, that cant pay their medical bills. Grow up, this is real life.

Whats wrong with hammer fists in a ground situation or foot stomps in a wall'n'stall situation?

I dunno maybe go to an MMA/BJJ/wrestling gym, ask them if you can try your theoretical techniques and get back to us on how it went.

Belfort will NEVER earn $30 million boxing. That kind of money is only made by the best in the sport. He only earned $400k to beat up Holyfield. The max he may get from the purse and PPV sales of that fight is $1million.

I love when people can't look something up themselves..... But I will throw u a bone, the evaluation was done by Forbes, Bloomberg, which is very reliable, and the story was done by SMC marketing( look up SMC Marketing and the UFC) which is one of the top marketing firm's in the nation, mainly helps companies with their marketing, but their bread and butter comes from doing research for investor's and advising them if they should invest or not. PPV numbers were strong for McGregor, everything else is down across the board, besides one UFC event on ESPN which did good, but other than that, it has issues, if you read the story it explains the massive amount of debt that UFC has, and debt collectors patience is running dry. IDK why wasting my time, regardless of what information u get I'm sure u won't believe it, since your a UFC fanatic....

lol, you assume all Mix-Martial-Arts Gyms offer world-level BJJ/Wrestling/Kickboxing from former UFC champions in every town. I bet I can walk in a random MMA gym and win a couple fights against the white/brown/purple belt 'instructors', that got E-certified. I bet if you go to a high-school and recruit the kids in sports-teams that sit on the bench for most of the season, and take them into the average MMA gym, they beat the crap out of most of the nerds that are trying learn to defend themselves.

You MMA fanboys live in a meme
