I'm just pointing out that Bute has nowhere near the power of those guys and isn't that exciting by any measure.
I agree that Bute doesn't have the same power Tyson had, but he isn't featherfisted either. And he is exciting IMO. He's no knock out artist, but he can throw smooth combos, make the other guy miss and has a good work rate and power. That makes an exciting fighter.

Bute schooled Andrade as bad as Kessler did. But he did it for 11 rounds, not 12. Maybe Bute doesn't have the greatest stamina. But no one in the SMW division can bring as much pressure as Andrade. So I think it is safe to say that Bute's stamina won't be a problem against anybody else.

In the Andrade rematch, he'll pace himself, winning rounds clearly but not wasting energy.

True. Absolutely true. Being exciting doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a knockout artist, but that your activity is always high. Going out there and giving it 110% each round. Laying pressure constantly. There are very few such fighters today.

Look at Bute's resume, he takes nothing but easy fights.

William Joppy was one of the most pathetic title defense opponents chosen in the history of boxing, Alejandro Berrio wasn't much better.

Both of them were completely undeserving.

Most pathetic though was fighting Fulcencio Zuniga, a guy that Kelly Pavlik knocked out at middleweight in a tuneup fight.

Joppy was his first title defence. Every champ has the "right" to have an easy title defence after he gets his title.

Berrio was the champ. Bute didn't have a choice but to fight him to get the title. He had previously beaten Bika, which isn't a bad name on his resume.

        Then he faught Andrade.

Then Zuniga, who was Showtime's choice, not Bute's team.

        Now he fights Andrade again.

After he does't have much choices, because he wasn't invited to the Super Six.

Before he signed for the Andrade rematch, he had talks to unify with Froch. Bute wanted to clear things up with Andrade, and Froch got involved with the Super Six.
