The fight was over, and the IBF rules stipulate that all he had to do is to stand (only have his two feet on the canvas). He didn't have to be ready to fight.
but he was never standing...he was leaning on the ropes...

Doesn't matter if he is up.

I also read the rules but only after the fight and changed my opinion on it.He just had to be up.

When the ref took his gloves, he made 1 or 2 steps forward. He leaned on the ropes when the ref turned to warn Andrade. I know the ref should've asked him to step forward before he took his gloves, but no rules say he has to. It's just a method refs usually use to see if the fighter is solid enough on his feet.

Anyway, doubts will vanish come November 28th.

He is one of the hardest working and most exciting fighters in the game today.

He is also one of the most improved since his loss to Kessler.
**** you. Exciting? He's EXCITING? Idiot! A fighter who virtually goes 12 rounds without landing anything significant, like against Kessler, can't be called exciting!

A fighter taht brings it all every time he steps in the ring can't be called anything else than exciting. Ne he doesn't have much god given ability (except his chin...) but he brings 36 minutes of hell to anyone facing him with boxing gloves. As a boxing fan, you have to respect that.

Once again; you people have some strange criterias to what's exciting...Nigel Benn was exciting, Matthew Saad was exciting, Tyson was exciting. You know why? They threw and LANDED big punches!

Obviously you havent seen very many of his fights.

His match against current IBF champion Stiglitz, in which Andrade bludgeoned and battered a more skilled man into submission, was one of the best undercard matches last year.

Also for the people who say that all Bute had to do was "stand with his feet on the ground" you are essentially saying that had Bute grabbed the top rope with both hands and pulled his butt off the floor 2 inches that would count as being "up on his two feet"

Lucian Bute is like watching paint dry compared to the guys you just named.

He lands weak punches and runs like a thoroughbred.
