Will this guy shut the **** up already about Loma not giving him the rematch had he lost?

He was an up and coming fighter with big mouth prior to the Loma fight. He didn't even know he'd still be a fighter just a few months prior the fight because of the depression over his wife or some ****.

He thought he had the right to be as arrogant as Loma before the fight. He didn't. He still doesn't.

You get that right by working your ass off and fighting, not shouting on twitter.

I'm not saying Loma's arrogance was a good thing. It wasn't. But it's somehow justified because of the work he put in to get to that level.

Who the hell Lopez was before the fight? Who the hell is he after the fight?

Before the fight he was a loudmouth kid going into a fight as a 7-1 underdog without a rematch clause.

After the fight he is the unified LW champ, recognized best LW in the world, a top 10 p4p boxer, and the guy that beat a 7-1 favorite clearly by outboxing him roughly 75% of the fight.

You’re wrong. He backed his arrogance up with punches and boxing skill. He can act however he wishes.

Respect is earned in the ring, not based on gold medals or NSB popularity.

Frankly, Loma didn’t earn Teo’s respect in the ring other than rounds 8-11.

Then why does the majority of fans doesn't seem to respect him?

You're damn right respect is earned in the ring, you earn it by constantly fighting and beating top guys.

Not getting a one big W and then acting like you're the shyt.

In other words “can’t make the weight” thanks Teo. I have a feeling his stuff ain’t gonna carry up too well. Just got that feeling, when guys melt down that much it comes at a price.

Would LOMA fans think his stance is a duck or they would honestly accept Teo's career, now doesn't revolve around LOMA and he has to gradually move up in weight . Yes the extra weight would suit him and give him more of an advantage against Loma but why shouldnt he he has earned it. This is a fight just to please LOMA fans so they shouldn't grumble
This IS a fight to please boxing fans btw 2 of the best fighters of this Era.

******ity. Jealousy. American boxers that are arrogant are generally unpopular on NSB. Teo fits that mold.

He literally hasn’t fought since the win so It makes no sense to judge him beyond his current resume.

In this case I disagree. Loma was a top 2 p4p boxer. He was a 7-1 favorite. Few gave Teo a chance to beat Loma. Me included.

Maybe 3 posters thought if he won it would be by outboxing Loma.

Loma and Arum were so confident Loma would win they didn’t have a rematch clause.

was this Buster over Tyson? No but a huge upset nonetheless.

Sorry my friend but Teo earned the right to stunt on the haters anyway he chooses. He also has every right to treat Loma like he beat him 8-4 or 9-3.

Don’t know Bout you but if I outbox a top 2 p4p boxer and defy everyone’s predictions I’m gonna stunt on the haters big time.

His last 2 fights are a dominant wins over LW champs. He had earned the right to act like he’s the big dog.

what an idiot. jake paul in his profile pic talking about how you gotta earn respect. Teo is the unified champ. he is the man who beat the man, deserves all our respect. he is 100 percent right to say:

"Had I lost, they would have never given me the opportunity, so I'm not doing it."

people in the boxrec forums are even worse than the MMA crowd

This just illustrates why American fighters and their fans still think they are #1 while the rest of the world think its cute.

You guys are detached from reality.

Teo just beat 2 straight LW champs in dominating fashion. Why can’t he celebrate the way he wishes?

the rest of the world will never be what we are so they can’t possibly understand how we do us.
