" they would have never given me another opportunity so no rematch"

    How do you know that?

What a ****ty excuse to fight aussie bumas's Kambosos instead of Loma in a superfight.

DUde IS living off one win in a competitive fight versus a smaller guy, talking about Loma keeps him relevant.

"Had I lost, they would have never given me the opportunity, so I'm not doing it." - Teofimo Lopez

Teo is on point right there! Loma felt Teo was beneath him, that he would win easily, and move on to bigger and better! DID NOT HAPPEN! Loma should be going after Haney's title, not Richard Commey! What does a Commey win do for him?

I hope Josh Taylor can be convinced to stay at 140, and fight Teofimo Lopez, instead of moving on to 147! Taylor vs. Lopez would be a very good fight!

I don’t usually throw “duck” around here as much as the next guy, but for a guy that talks so highly of his skills, prices himself so high, can’t seem to get that money without cutting deals with sketchy streaming services that give him the runaround, you’d think he’d at least entertain the idea. Loma is already a marquee fighter, it’s not like he needs to raise his profile, or the fight needs to marinate.
If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, ……….

Not sure why Lopez wouldn’t take a fight where he’d be the A side and probably get the lions share of the money. The whole “he wouldn’t give me one if I asked for it” thing seems kinda silly & pointlessly spiteful

Both of them have options if this rematch doesn’t happen. Loma can fight at 135 or 130 & he’s got Haney, Ryan Garcia, Stevenson, Berchelt, Valdez, Herring.
Teos got Haney & Garcia and if he did move up to 140 there’s a ton of great fights to make besides Taylor. I just think Lomas shown more of a willingness to take on the fights we wanna see than Lopez has. Everyone we wanna see him against, he’s shot down
Who has Loma offered a rematch too? Gary russell wanted a rematch. Furthermore why should LOMA? Go and chase greatness is the advice i would have told Loma and i'm a Garry Russell fan. He lost and he has to get in line. simple as that. Pacquiao vs Thurman was close should PAC have to fight Thurman again? Porter vs ugas was close too. There was no rematch written for a reason . Loma was happy about it and Teo before the fight brought it up but said cool. Lets call it as it is, Arum and Loma didn't think they would lose.

For what its worth i wanted loma to beat the crap out of Lopez and i put money on it . After the fight he is having surgery and shi*t, thats on him. He blew his big opportunity and fighting Nakantani changes nothing.....

I'm listening to you and im reading words such as " Teo is kinda silly and pointlessly spiteful" yet proclaiming Loma is prideful and he would do the rematch. On what evidence are you basing those thoughts on exactly? It was a commanding performance especially the 12th round he was never in trouble. i just feel Loma fans were so happy and i include myself in this because from the 7th we were relieved that he actually through some combinations at Teo especially as i had money riding on him but it was too little too late

I thought so too. I thought Loma was levels above, and if they wrote in the contract there would be a rematch i would have been up in arms because Loma is on to bigger and better things and Teo is an arrogant twat who doesn't deserve a second shot........Now look

"Hindsight is 20/20!" I think Teo vs. Taylor or Ramirez is GOLD! I really don' understand Loma vs. Commey? I remember Nakatani and Commey were building blocks for Lopez, and now they're Loma is fighting them? That's going backwards as far as I'm concerned. I'd much rather see Loma fight Haney @ 135, or drop down to 130 and fight the winner of Herring vs. Stevenson, or Valdez!

Exactly....... Maybe one of his fans would like to explain why Loma wants to fight Commey?

The only 2 top tier fighters Loma has fought is Russell (MD Win) and Lopez (UD Loss). Not a surprise he is fighting left overs.

why? if he fights Haney next would that benefit him more both, financially and legacy wise as he would be without question, the undisputed....... Fighting josh Taylor, well i dont need to explain the benefits there. Fighting Tank or Garcia is a much better move both financially and having a deeper resume. Fighting Loma benefits Loma and satisfies his adoring fans. What does he gain fighting Loma other than money? He would earn more fighting the other guys. I totally understand why Loma wants a rematch and i get it, but its not about him its about Lopez. Loma lost his right to dictate to fighters, the night he chose to enter the ring and throw no punches for 6/7 rounds
