If this fight were to happen. It will remind me of the Tito Trinidad vs Joppy fight. Where Joppy beat an old legend in Roberto Duran and thought he was the man. Then got beat the **** up right after.

Jake is an athletic kid in his prime who has dedicated 3 years to boxing training exclusively, has access to high level coaching and is then fighting washed up cut from the UFC middle aged MMA guys (one of them the victim of a 5 second KO loss and considered to have the worst striking in UFC history) who are smaller than him, under boxing rules, because by his own admittance he'd get wrecked otherwise. Theres actually video of him sparring some D level 3-2 MMA fighter multiple weight classes below him and getting tapped out.
What hes really feasting on is boxing itself, because hes an MMA fan using boxing as a platform to make money and play boxer without even boxing actual boxers. Meanwhile the UFC aint returning his calls and are doing their own thing.Last edited by TMLT87; 09-13-2021, 08:52 AM.Comment

MMA has more knockouts and wars than boxing. The "hugging" argument doesnt work.

Canelo should offer to fight him for free, all proceeds go to charity, and see if he still wants it.Comment

Ohh what now? Real Boxing and fake Boxers shouldn't be mixing. If Belfort wants to take up this sport properly then good for him. Climb the rankings and prove you are serious and maybe eventually you will be in a position but just talking real fighters names is just a joke.Comment
