Very telling that Arum says "hopefully Crawford signs for the fight" I have been saying all along Bud does NOT want to fight Porter and I expect him to find a way out of this fight...

As much as I dislike Arum he was right about losing money with Crawford who believes he is A side in every fight he attempts to make. Is he a champion? Yes and a skilled one. However he hasn’t been able to draw flies to horse s h ! T. This is important because Spence sells out stadiums and is the A side vs Crawford. However Crawford’s pride is what is getting in the way of a deciding fight. He doesn’t want to accept that he isn’t A side and never will be until he beats the top dogs.

      such a waste of talent.

I'll only believe it when i see both in the ring at the same time and gloved up.

Skill and style-wise Crawford should win comfortably. He's already beat a guy, an Olympic champ with the same style. That said, Crawford didn't want the fight last year and Porter did. Will we find out why?

... Please tell me you're not comparing Shawn Porter to Jeff Horn.

Rather see Crawford/Ortiz Crawford/Taylor. Porter and Crawford do not want to fight each other because they are friends. Crawford will be a heavy favorite.

                  ———
PAC & Khan are friends and yet they discussed fighting each other.
None of the 5 guys that Crawford had fought at WW is as fire as Porter.
Crawford’s resume at 147 is pure horse poop. For a guy that’s been sitting at everyone’s P4P list for over 5 years, that’s just pathetic.
Crawford is ducking Porter just like he ducked Spence.
Boots Ennis will even beat him if they fight.

Comparisons could always be made. They both come forward, smothering their own work, while trying to tie up their opponents, making for an ugly affair for everyone involved. That might have worked for Horn against Pac but didn’t work out too well for him against Crawford. Nor did it it work too well for Porter against Ugas or Thurman. I’m looking forward to all the Crawford naysayers getting to see how easily he’ll negate Porter’s aggression and probably walk him onto a straight left for a stoppage.

Horn is nowhere near Porter. Not close.

                      Porter is effective against everyone.

Horn was effective against fighters that took him lightly.

Crawford was smart enough to fake a hand injury a week before the fight, throwing off Horn's camp timing, fighting in America vs. Australia, and making sure to choose a ref that was quick to stop fights. Manny wasn't smart enough to make those decisions.

                      Ultimately Porter is a 9, Horn is a 5. It's not close.
