I am not done, but I am starting to love irrelevant fights, because they are unpredictable or/and competitive.

I really don`t care much about Canelo -Plant and Fury -Wilder 3, because I know what will happen.

It's all about making money. If there were Youtubers in the olden days to make money from, they would have been fighting then as well. Nash out.

but the reality is your casual audience does consider it boxing and care more about celebrity boxing than watching a Demetrius Andrade bore fest or something. So we’re going to see more and more investment in this celebrity and YouTube boxing and more attention on it, which will define boxing as a sport for the mainstream audience.

I don’t really care about it, if a bunch of washed up fighters and celebrities wanna make money by getting ****** people to pay for this, then good luck to them. Most of us would probably take that money too at that stage in life.

but I still don’t think it’s healthy for the sport in the long run in terms of public interest and perception.

real boxing has to take huge responsibility and blame too. Best fighters avoiding each other, promoters and TV not working together etc. Maybe if we actually got more fights we want, the public would show more interest in real boxing and the sport won’t start to be defined by Jake Paul in the public eye.
You are speaking as if boxing, is some sort of 'Divine, royal moral sport'.

The sport started on the streets, in the bars and clubs 'Any man with courage to throw a punch in anger, was given the opportunity to fight' anywhere, and anyplace.

Nobody cares mate, about the image of the sport 'That is what you need to understand'. It is instinct for people, to find violence interesting. That is why this exhibitions or celebrity fights are doing some business.

I don't particular like the shows, and I never even bothered watching any of the fights last night 'But this has been happening since the start of prize fighting'.

You know deep down, that people will say one thing and do another. Nobody cares about the credibility the sport or most things in life, people from day to day live in the moment 'They just want some form of entertaining RIGHT NOW'. As Bernard Hopkins stated, we live in a microwavable age where everybody wants everything right now 'That is the culture these days'.

That is what you are dealing with when you talk about the general public, the lemmings that you are crying about 'Not paying boxing attention'.

Deathoftheclown, I am going off topic. Do me a favor, and stop letting lemmings rule your life, stop worrying about them.

You’re the one who has stooped to watching these bums fight. Don’t blame real boxing by watching these side shows. Boxing is an art that is to be appreciated. Watching Jake Paul and a shot Holyfield and then telling us that you’re done with boxing is your fault. Imma watch boxing until I’m dead because it’s pfp the best sport in the world!!!

Carroll and Vences was boxing. Anderson Silva is a boxer but the rest of that card wasn't boxing.

If you watched that farce and came away disillusioned then shame on you. You should have been watching Lejarraga and Charrat fight for the European belt. That was boxing.

actually I agree with you , hence why I said I don’t care if people wanna do it and make money, or if people wanna buy it for entertainment. Good for them.

my point is that I believe this will become the public image of boxing which is probably not a good thing for “real” active boxers, or who knows, maybe it will. Maybe it’ll force them to make the best fights to stay relevant and promote themselves.

overall I don’t care that much. As I’ve said plenty of times on here, it’s just entertainment.

Too much bitching and whining from so called boxing fans, if you don't like it don't watch and stop whining like little girls.
