Oh I know what it is, I wrestled in highschool and had to make weight, so I know the feeling. The only thing supplements do is kill the feeling of being hungry, so it's more mental than anything, as a matter of fact weight loss products are designed to affect the part of the brain the deals with hunger, it by no means gives you a physical edge, which is the part that affects boxing, which is all about physical strength. If you are using weight loss supplements to cut weight, your still weak, that never goes away so your still going to have issues with strength. Human Growth Hormone and it's variations of that product is what truly steroids are, they give you speed, power and endurance. That's an edge, believe it or not weight loss products are a stimulant, just like *******, meth, Adderall, ect, and because they speed your heart rate, you get tired a lot faster, in boxing, where you need endurance, that's not an edge.

That's the real reason why boxing suffers, no one really knows who's the division Champ when everyone claims to be " the champ" and never fight the each other to find out who's the best. That's the problem, not taking a weight loss supplement that does nothing to to give you extra strength. IDK what happened with Valdez, but if he was using something to cut weight, he's still going to be weak come fight time, diet pills don't make you superman, if this was an actual steroid that boost up your strength, than that would be a problem.

I mean there was a champion at 160 that was getting called out after his promoter at the time said everyone at 160 could get it. He fought a declining 175 "champ" that almost got KOed a few months earlier then he fought a couple more guys that absolutely nobody wanted to see can't forget his last opponent was suspended for using PED's vs a another Middleweight that called out the same guy but you wouldn't dare call him a cherry picker the same reason you bash all those other fighters that have one thing in common

Just say you don't like Black American fighters it's ok to embrace the scum that you are.

So Jacobs wasn't that good, he was black..... And if you want to compare Canelo's resume to any of those fighters I mentioned, go ahead, I don't call out fighters who go out there and actually try to fight the best, has nothing to do with race, but you always want to make it about that because maybe your just a racist Fu**..... Oh yes, black people are racist too, racism goes in many directions, you just bit** about it the most....

No sir. Not at all. I'm not really saying it's "right". There's a foul smell from it. I'm just saying that people are over exaggerating this with the "kill Valdez!" commentary that's directed his way now. All I'm saying is to ME, this isn't that bad. There's much worse that happens in boxing and/or any other sport, for me to be upset about this.

The bottom line is he got caught with a illegal weight cutting drug in his system as per VADA. They always make me even have less respect for them they say I don't know how it got there? We've heard that a hundred times before. As long as it is on their list and they were the one's in charge of testing, giving the results to officials, there should be no fight. Even if you are using it for weight cut, you still are at a advantage vs a opponent losing weight the old fashion way...killing themselves. Until it's off the list, suck it up buttercup. Doesn't matter what the substance is...could be cod liver oil.

It's not about piling on Valdez, it's about defending Conceicao. Defending boxing itself. The whole thing can be shut down for a bad incident. You would be more upset if you were the one getting beat.

I'm not sure that because Valdez failed the test for this upcoming fight that he should be accused of cheating in the Berchelt fight. He passed the tests. I know that doesn't mean he was clean, but the brutal KO that he gave Berchelt didn't strike me as a tremendous shot from a drug cheat. Berchelt was desperately flailing away at Valdez, with his chin up and he was already hurt. He all but walked right into Oscar's counter shot.

They should stop all PED testing, its a farce

95% of people get straight threw. A negative test doesnt prive you didnt use PEDs it just proves you know how to pass the test.

If there is money on the table they will find some loop hole to "allow" a positive test and continue the fight. they pick and choose when to enforce the rules and how stiff to enforce the penalties.

Mike tyson made a good points years ago. He was fined 100k for testing positive for weed. James toney tested positive for anabolics and was fined 10k. Its arbitrary and pointless.

Like Goodman VADA president said, If we provide all party with test results and their are
ignored, then testing is useless. Oscar should have lost title and suspended. No title means
less money and his trainer and conditioning coach also earn less. While Oscar is the fighter
this is a team problem but oscar is only getting slap in wrist. The VADA results should have
financial impact on every party involved including promoter to result as deterrent to other
fighters. When millions are on the line, this was a slap in the face to every clean fighter,
trainers and conditioning coaches who question and look out for their fighter. If promoters
were losing money on cancelled fights they wouldn't look the other way.

Oscar's attorney best in the boxing business. Sometimes it's not who you are or what
you have done but who you know.
