This fight has the potential to become the next Khan v Brook scenario where both are UK fighters who dislike each other and talk about fighting but both think they are the A side, are not willing to negotiate and perhaps won't actually fight until they they are no longer relevant.

Not sure either of them are particularly relevant now!
Jr has beaten noone of note yet talks like he's undisputed and Saunders just quit in his last fight.

Eubank junior is a pretty unpleasant idiot really. Like him or not Saunders clearly had his face utterly smashed to pieces by Canelo and anyone who sees that as quitting just isn’t a fan of boxing really. If you can’t appreciate and applaud the risks fighters take for our entertainment rather than making some lame partisan comment about it then you’re a pathetic keyboard warrior that really has no place on a site like this. Eubank has done sod all. His best win was over a faded De Gale and I can’t see him improving that much under Jones. He’ll revert to type when the pressure is on and he’s got no rhythm or ring smarts as a fighter. Utterly deluded. How can he possibly be the A side against a former 2 weight champion who’s last fight was against the worlds number 1 p4p?? Idiot. Such a shame as although his father was an idiot out of the ring too, at least he had character and must’ve been one of the toughest I’ve ever seen - his fight with Carl Thompson was amazing.

I like Eubank and admire his iron chin and workout. I liked his dad so naturally i wanted him to do well but he has spent his entire career talking. BJS last fight was against Canelo where he made it a competitive fight until he quit. you don't get bigger than Canelo. Yet for some reason Eubank thinks he is doing Saunders a favour. He did not quit. Retiring from a fight because you sustain and possibly career-ending injury is not quitting. It's a ****** mentality like this that gets fighters killed. I understand the "go out on your shield mindset", a lot of fighters can't help but feel that way, but at the end of the day, Boxing is a sport and is not worth dying or severely disfiguring yourself over.

I second that last comment. Utterly obvious from
Numerous photos in the ring that his orbital was smashed. Big old dent in the right side of his face. Unmistakable and no doubt whatsoever. It’s really low for Eubank to even mention it. Shows no respect, no honour. His father would never have stooped so low just to try and sell a fight. How about actually getting in the ring and fighting a live body. He acts like he’s already made it but truth is he hasn’t had a single decent win over a non injured prime fighter. Not one.
