So this is how it goes now and again with what is wrong with boxing. PEDs are overlooked and everyone chases after that situation. Meanwhile a female fighter died in the ring what I week ago ? Should she have been in the ring, was it over looked by the powers of boxing, having lost her last fight in a KO fashion ? Look over here people stay away from a death in the ring which is the worst result of any boxing case. The list I could run down on what boxing has become is too long and sad to go thru but a death of a fighter should be investigated also. I get so tiered of all that surrounds boxing these days. Stories on 50 year old boxers getting back in the ring, stories of covid cases, stories of fans getting misled about cards being cancelled for reasons having to do with nothing more then money. I used to enjoy the fight game, I never felt uncomfortable talking boxing to those that are not watching it but now NOW I can not even get angry enough to rant and rave just throw up a few facts and figures. I don't want to hurt boxing but boxing sure seems to want to hurt boxing and in that it is winning. And getting rich off of it too Sorry for the long post I am just a guy who used to enjoy the fight game.

WBC needs to change its name to MBC (Mexican Boxing Council).

It was no different when Yildirim pissed dirty or when Charlos "missed" the test.
Yildirim failed for 2 kinds of steroids and he was given a pass anyway.

Then UKAD should change it's name to A Hearn Subsidiary.

Because their 100 years of combined experience tells them that out of competition abuse of PEDS is dangerous to the non-abusing (or even abusing) competitors.
Their protocols, if followed by all commissions and boxers would create a level playing field. Allowing out of competition use of PEDs like WADA eliminates a level playing field.

Why don't commissions come down hard on PED abuse?

My take is that it would create a more level competition level which would mean less KOs, more boxers fatiguing in later rounds = less action - in other words, PED use allows for a more spectacular sport which in turn puts more bums in seats and more $ are flowing everywhere.

The WBC is crooked, we've seen this before. Mauricio is handing out "pardons". I hope Valdez realizes that he still has a little credit left. He didn't pee neon green, until he got with Raynoso. Sucking up to Mauricio is like putting a bandaid on cancer.

Some of the comments on here are baseless. Listen.

When Julio Cesar Martinez (Reynoso fighter) got popped, nobody seemed to care. Name was big enough I guess.

When Saul Alvarez (Reynoso fighter) got busted, the solution was easy. Since everyone lives in the same house and eats the same meals drying camp, test everyone’s hair sample. If Canelo’s hair tests positive (as it did) and the rest of the camp tests negative… then we know what times it is don't we?

Same with this guy Valdez (Reynoso fighter). Get a sample of the type of tea he says he took and test it. If it tests positive, give him a pass. But it won’t, will it?

Boxing doesn’t care about drug testing. It never has. If so, then the punitive damages would be as harsh as possible.

I am glad Dr. Goodman has defended her companies position and it's role.
The boxing organizations, state commissions, promoters, fighters and their
teams have been warned VADA means business. Number 7 gave me a smile.

I agree. I saw Lance Armstrong espn short film about 1 yr ago. Lance got wiped out
financially and banned for life as I recall.
