    BTW, thanks for that.

For someone who claims that "facts are nice", I've noticed you repeatedly ignore facts about your #2 P4P.

Do you not understand that real P4P fighters don't need to be forced into a purse bid, bro?

Da Nuetral is a poster that comes off like he hates haymon more than he likes the sport.

His posts show he prefers a haymon event fail miserably rather than Succeed and possibly bring more fans in.

A major ww title fight between 2 Americans that Could be a FOTY candidate. How much would it suck if that happened and most of America didn’t see it because it was on DAZN?

If Fox or Showtime win this bid will they put it on free to air or do you think a 90 Dollar PPV is going to happen? Would that help to push it to the masses?
Yes it does. Most American fans don’t have DAZN so it minimizes visibility and likely advertising dollars.

They asked for an extension to negotiate. I don’t see why the bid didn’t happen already. Maybe the logistics of a split network ppv.

If DAZN wins the bid, Porter May walk or Crawford might vacate.

I think this fight is going to ppv because that helps revenue for both fighters.

I agree it would be better for viewers if it was on espn, Fox or sho given they have a wide reach. But that would require a site fee that networks simply aren’t paying right now, as I’m sure you’re aware.

Hopefully the two sides can come together and reach a deal in order to prevent a purse bid. I'd rather see a joint promotion than having no fight at all because if this fight does go to the open market and the PBC loses the purse bid then the fight won't happen at all. Al Haymon would forbid Shawn Porter to fight on any other platform rather than his own.

Crawford has to fight to keep his belt. Porter has options. Haymon has 2 fighters with belts at 147. Porter could fight either of them. "Same side of the street" keeps the money in house. It's possible that Porter vs Ugas 2 makes more money for him than a split promotion fight against Crawford would. Plus a guaranteed shot at Spence if he wins. It's the same round robin that has been going on for years at 147.

Not if its the result of a purse bid. They would get the same amount, regardless of the broadcast outlet. They only could get a PPV upside if some sort of deal is reached ahead of the bid........

Crawford has barely spoken to Bob lately. Bob is about to let him go. If Bob tries to screw him, There is no telling what he may do.

I didn’t state it but I figure that is part of the ongoing negotiations and the extension.

It's a new era of boxing promotions the old way of doing things can't keep up with today. These fighters have to be paid, they're doing all the work at taking the risk.
