I for one never liked the way Canelo and Reynoso strategize to get an opponent on late notice.. they tried doing it to Plant and he didn't bite. But then they do it to Callum Smith and it Smith took the bait for the payday

Canelo groupies kept saying Plant was scared and pricing himself out purposefully because he was scared of canelo. Then it comes out that it was canelo with the ridiculous demands and then they all had excuses. Then canelo tried to pretend like he was going to fight bivol for leverage with pbc, they called his bluff and he came running back because as we all knew, he had no intention of fighting bivol. wrong. Canelo never negotiated with Plant. As the lead promoter, PBC was the one doing all the negotiations. PBC negotiated with Canelo, and PBC negotiated with Plant. Canelo wasnt promoting the event, so he couldnt care less what Plant is making. And the stumbling block in the first deal was the replacement opponent issue between Canelo and PBC. It also had nothing to do with Plant.

So it makes me wonder what exactly Plant is talking about, because he never negotiated with Canelo in the first place......

Callum Smith is a LHW at least. He had all of 2020 to stay busy. Fans don’t even realize Canelo ain’t that big. He’s a small SMW. Even GAMBER says Canelo is smaller than Plant. In gym talk this is acceptable. When Canelo beat Kovalev the Mexican was ready. Plant didn’t even bust a sweat with Feigenbutz and his defenders want to cry about time needed. Thats cute!
