Why is Boxing Scene doing a Eubank a day article anymore? Did people start caring about this "B" level fighter while I was away drinking heavily and drafting my Fantasy Football team?

This guy is all over the place. Almost as annoying as his father.

He needs to beat a notable fighter before anyone will take him seriously, as his career has been a series of I'm here, I'm not here stutter starts.

As for the claim that there are no more fighters left for Canelo, that is ridiculous. He may not have the wealth of choices unless he moves up to 175, but there is still Benavidez with a 24(22)-0 record and stands at 6". That is a challenge I'm sure most fans would welcome.

Eubank's next opponent Steven Elbir is a club fighter at best with almost all of his competition against bums with plenty of losses and hasn't fought outside of Germany. He's ranked 44/100.

A tune-up fight needs to contain enough of a challenge in order to gauge where your fighter is, not have him either blow him out or worse if he can't put a C-level fighter away...

If he doesn't land a notable opponent in his next fight I will begin to shelve him away with JCC Jr, Adonis Stevenson, Sven Ottke, and other one belt wonders who fought substandard opposition most of their careers or have ended up doing so.

If he gets some rounds in against Elbir and demonstrates a marked improvement as a result of RJJ's tutelage, then I might be interested only, and only if he lands a 50-50 fight.

Otherwise, he seems likely to become an 8 rounder part-timer who comes out every few months proclaiming he's a new fighter with a new perspective and here to clean up the division... Große yawn.

Better than these lame Joke Paul articles they were on everyday. At least Eubank is real fighter. Not the biggest fan of him, but he brings it everytime he's in the ring. Probably got a better chance at testing Canelo than Plant. Canelo gonna run Plant over and that ain't even in question.

Eubank Jnr was totally outclassed by Groves.

Canelo would beat the brakes of him.

Tired of Eubank talking big then fighting bums.

This sounds exactly like what he said about GGG five years ago.
