To summarise and actually answer the question of who was the last 40 year old he fought: it was Wladimir Klitschko. And Klitschko is, in fact, the only fighter over 40 that Joshua has fought since winning a world championship belt.

And the Klitschko AJ fought turned up and put in one of his career best performances as admitted by Wlad himself and the German media who worshipped him. Wlad didn't turn up against Fury and Fury barely won in possibly the most boring heavyweight fight of all time. Fury saw the look in Wlads eyes in the rematch press conference. Result? No rematch. Oh and the small matter of his cheating ped ways. Time to hide for 3 years lol.

Its ok for up & comers (though i think it's dangerous) but belt holder's.

No the WBO found the opponent. It's called a mandatory. That would be a totally new concept for both Fury and Wilder given that Fury has never even made a defence and Wilder was in the WBC protection program during his reign. If they'd had the balls to fight AJ he'd have less mandatories on his record.

What if aj wins and wilder wins. Im a firm believer this 3rd fight cause of delay is gonna be closer than most anticipate. Fury is better in every deparment by lightyrs except power wilder power legendary what if this past 2 yrs been us royal marine training on boxing basics using jab as weapon basic combos n ect to set up the right. Lastly wilder looks to me to have gained weight prob 235 if been like such past 6 months then is used to it

I don't think there will be the big difference weight between both fighters, that people are expecting come the weigh in.
