So just found out she had a KO loss 3 ****ing months ago.!!! Wtf her coaches should be in jail for letting her fight that soon against a much older fighter. She probably had a severe concussion going into this fight. This is on the ****ing coaches.

Not only that... She stayed leveled on the floor for a few minutes ... GYM is doing some gymnastic trying to explain why she was even taken for the fight... Total mismatch from round one against a "National-at-Best" Marie-Pier Houle... Looks like Covid and head injury protocols got the best of her ... Sad, really sad...

I put this more on her coaches and team. Promoters from everywhere put on mismatches all the time.

Her coaches shouldn't have let her fight that soon after KO loss. That's insane to me that nobody is looking at her coaches. Those pieces of ****s

Headgear doesn't actually protect your brain. Common misconception.

damn i just assumed it reduced the force of the shot, cushioned as u will, and that was good, kinda like a good heel cushioning in a shoe, which i like a lot, i always wore headgear sparing, everyone did as far as i could see, we were all over confident so if thats the case

It still protects from cuts and they have their uses but that's one of the issues I think is that they give people false confidence that they are protected. Also makes your head a considerably bigger target and limits peripheral vision.

While it could happen to any fighter, it's mismatches like this that seem to stand out more. Seems that alot of people failed her to include possibly herself. KOs in female boxing are a rarity and when you have been KO'd in consecutive fights then there is probably an issue.

Her corner and management should have seen it, the promoter and commission should have seen it.

                Incredibly sad. RIP Jeanette.
