Can't see Josh making this up. In the interview he said he done really well against Ugas and it looked like he was gonna leave it there. But you could see him debating in his mind and then must have came to the conclusion of what the hell lol, and said about dropping him.Comment

The thing that says it for me from Ugas is him saying, where is the footage of it. How pathetic. Does every sparring session get taped? Lol. No it doesn't. Maybe all his do though, and he got it deleted, which is why he knows there is none and is saying to Josh, where's the footage then? Pathetic. At the end of the day it's sparring and it doesn't mean ****. But if these two do fight, then I think Josh gets in Ugas's head easy. Can't see this fight happening though.Comment

Like you said, doesn't count. But just because Ugas ask for the clip, it doesn't make true. It all comes down to I say you say. If he thinks he can win, why not challenge Ugas? And I don't think, with all the things that Ugas has going through, that anyone can get in his head. He just came out of the biggest event he ever participated in, on top. Josh Taylor is the only real champion in boxing. All I need to know to say **** Ugas.
Ugas needs to gather some belts or fight Josh and beat him before I give any ****s about his word against Josh's. If Taylor says he dropped Ugas he damn well dropped Ugas and my proof is them belts.

No it doesn't and its down to who you believe and for me that's Josh. I see no reason why he would make it up. I'm not sure I agree with him mentioning it and he seemed be thinking over wether to mention it as he was answering the question of how the spar went. Two reasons for not challenging Ugas. First bud is the bigger fight, and second I don't see PBC wanting any part of it at least until their 3 belts have been unified. Imo. I get what your saying about his biggest fight but for me, how big was it for Manny. Pac is a massive upgrade for Ugas and he's gonna give it his everything. But for Manny he's downgrading from Spence there so did he have the same passion for the fight? It's a different mindset and it suited Ugas more and with just a couple of weeks he probably was still pinching himself he was getting it let alone starting to doubt himself. I'm not a Pac fan and I say well done to Ugas. But on the sparring issue I'm thinking, why does Ugas not just shrug it off. It looks to me like he bit. Maybe this was Josh starting to soften him if he does want that fight. I did find it strange that he was asked about Ugas when previously all questions would be about bud.
