Oscar De La Hoya claims he was ****d at age 13

Sad thing is, this happens to more young men than people are willing to admit, but the focus is ALWAYS on women...some of the biggest perpetrators out there as far as I've seen. What happens to the woman? A slap on the wrist or people involved try to knock the edge off before it blows up. Wrong on all fronts.
I've known of women being caught dead to rights regarding sexual assault but little to nothing is done to them. They're usually painted in this "helping hand" light and people act as though the young man is supposed to just "get over it" because it was an older woman and "you know how young men like older women" and blah blah blah.
Now, look at Oscar's behaviors (over the past 15 years) since the alleged incident. Drugs, crossdressing, sex scandals, jokes about batting for the other team ("Oscar De La H0m0") and so on. On the other hand, a bitter woman can pop up decades later after you've moved on, married, started a family, business, etc., and cry "r@pe" or "me too" with little to no evidence of such things. Very few cases prove to be true...it's usually a sign of jealousy and attention-seeking behaviors that ruin your reputation while they work through their ***********.
You lose possessions, jobs, your family, etc., until you're proven innocent....again, wrong on all fronts. I say what I say about Oscar but the man's eyes tell a story of a broken man in some cases. Best regards to him!Last edited by MeanestNiceGuy; 09-02-2021, 01:18 PM.Comment

That's terrible.
It's understandable that he didn't mention this when he was younger, it's hard thing to admit especially as a male. Also explains a lot about his odd and even destructive behavior as an adult.
I feel for De La Hoya, people have mocked him (including myself), but I just want the man to be happy. I grew up watching Oscar since I was 10, he was always in the local news after he won the gold medal in 1992. Watched a lot of his early televised fights all the way until his final fight with Pac.
I wish De La Hoya the best with whatever he does in life. He has a new girlfriend now, seems to be in high spirits.Comment

Tacky to belittle someone's abuse just because it's not of the conventional kind. Age and power are factors no matter the gender.Comment
