He ain't fighting there anymore. That's something I've been telling this board for a while now. I don't see him defending the other two either. He's not gonna be a mandatory to people he's the A-side to (Lopez and Taylor) unless they agree on the money.

So where does that leave him?

That takes Berchelt, Herring, JoDiaz, and Valdez off the cards.

He's not going to compete at 140 unless it's a Taylor showdown. Most likely.

So, that means only 135 to fight at for any significant legacy defining matches.

They were all there in the first place but clearly it looks like Davis won't be navigating his career in a similar fashion to Floyd or any other ATGs.

I wonder where that'll take him.
