Its important to note that one of those knockdowns happened when Taylor-Ramirez were separating in the clinch -- a lucky shot, a slip by Ramirez expecting Taylor to fight clean.

And even before the 140 undisputed clash with Ramirez, Regis Prograis gave the 'Tart-Tomato' the beating of his life, on the verge of being stopped in the final round. Taylor sucks.
Aw Elie you are still bitter from seeing your boy get outclassed. You know just like everyone else those were Bob Arum scorecards. Just like Wilder getting beat badly the other guy cheated. F-OFF you pathetic little slimy weasel.

Josh is thumping his chest. An old Manny is still better than Ramirez or Prograis. 147 is full of sharks, well it used to be. The new breed look like barracuda, sleek, fast and hungry. Don't back out because the old man is gone. Take on Boots or Ortiz, in the Hydro? The pay might be better outside of Scotland. Anyhow, Crawford is rusting away.

JT as a kid growing up would have envisaged a totally different scenario for his undisputed fight. In terms of the event and being able to share that with the fans, it was taken away from him because of the pandemic. An arena with 1000 people was not quite in his dreams let alone only 8 or 9 being his people. So it's an opportunity to make up for that, to enjoy his success with his loyal fans that would have been there if it were possible. It's not a big fight, but it's more the occasion that ticks the box. It means nothing to Americans who have been spoiled with an abundance of riches in talent over the years, but here in Scotland us fans are enjoying our first genuine star since the 60's some 60 years ago. And it was before my time so for many it's kind of the first lol. Also the fact that, like him or not, think he deserves the shot or not, JC done a very honourable thing in stepping aside to allow Josh to have his moment. We're may be a tiny nation but are a proud honourable people and its important that Josh is honourable in return and gives him his shot. I for one would be disappointed and embarrassed if he didn't keep his word. And we also enjoy a serious rivalry in sport with the English where mostly it us that take the bloody nose. This is also Josh stepping up and representing for his nation. So it's not a big fight but more an important one for Josh and our little nation. But after that he'll be more than willing to step into the big boys playground.
If he's doing it for JC, because he took the step aside, I get it! I just feel that even guys like Vergil and Kudratillo would be willing to fight in Scotland too!

They probably would and they'd be good fights. But they're also harder to make and not as big a sell in the UK also. And like I say its honor. If Josh walks away from a fight with Jack then he looks like some guy who's word can't be trusted and nobody will cut him slack again in the future if he needed it. I'm not too clued up on Kudratillo so I'm guessing not many fans in Scotland know much about him. I'm a bit of a Vergil fan, and rate him also, and this is a fight for Josh I'd very much like to see. I'd actually like to see that, then if he can get past Vergil it'll set him up nicely for a fight with Crawford. But reality is that's not the way it will happen. He'll look to go straight to Crawford after JC.

That's assuming Crawford beats Porter, and signs an extension with Top Rank! The chances that BOTH of those things occur are about 33%, but either way, enjoy JT vs. JC!

On another note, what's the status/mood in Scotland with regard to Brexit?

Well Josh will get his mandatory shot through the WBO in time no matter what, just as Usyk is with AJ. So wether it's Porter, or Crawford as a PBC fighter he'll still get a shot at that title. It'll just take longer. I shall enjoy the Catteral fight, thanks, as I'm also a fan of Jack also, having followed his career from his 10th fight against Tom Stalker. At that point Jack was flying but his career has been poorly handled by Warren. This is not the fight I really want to see either as I'd rather Josh in a big fight and Jack fighting maybe a Barboza Jr for the vacant title. But I fully appreciate why this fight is being done, so we get on with it. Brexit? Sorry I can't help you there. It takes me all my day trying to work out boxing politics let alone real life politics lol. I will say this though. Scotland has been trying to become independent from the UK in recent years, but to no avail. That seems to be the priority for our nation. Like I said, a proud people. But then aren't all people's?
