I see a lot of hate for Josh Taylor. He became undisputed champion in his 18th pro bout! He's not a guy who fights for WBA "regular" titles aganist nobodies. And yes he beats 42 y/o Pacquiao.

"And also disappointed because I won't get the chance to fight him now. It could have been amazing. Who gets to share the ring with their hero?" Why would you want to fight and beat up on your hero? Mike Tyson idolized Muhammad Ali and vowed revenge on Larry Holmes for battering his aged hero.

Ugas could fight and has fought at 154-160 in the past.
Taylor is bigger than Pacquiao, but not like Ugas “big”.
He is closer to Pacquiao’s weight. Pacquiao would have less problems and Taylor would definitely feel Pacquiao’s punches. Even at 43, Pacquiao could probably beat Taylor. And I like Taylor.

Its important to note that one of those knockdowns happened when Taylor-Ramirez were separating in the clinch -- a lucky shot, a slip by Ramirez expecting Taylor to fight clean.
And even before the 140 undisputed clash with Ramirez, Regis Prograis gave the 'Tart-Tomato' the beating of his life, on the verge of being stopped in the final round. Taylor sucks.
