The scorecards were poor, Joyce should have been a few up. I do still think ddd has a good future tho.Comment

Why the **** would you pick Dubois to beat Joyce now? What the **** has he proven? He still doesn't move his head and he still has ****ty defence. Are we forgetting that Joyce beat him with a ****ing jab???
This is what I am talking about, its like people saying Tommy is suddenly this great fighter. Brits rate a fighter b how much media exposure they have, not how good they are.Comment

**** off.
All this talk by many people here about how Jake Paul is bad for boxing over here and now they're in America fighting on his ****ing undercard.
Brits always do this weird thing we we simultaneously pretend we're superior to Americans whilst begging off them. Far more interesting opponents for Dubious to fight in the US as well. Instead he choose some no name guido.
I used to think Dubois was the future but I actually think he's a busted flush. Hopefully I'm just getting ahead of myself but everything so far makes it look like he's on "overrated British bum" train. People are really ****ing underestimating Joyce. He was a very high level opponent for Dubois to take on. His wins against Stiverne and Takam should have proven that. Dubois should really be aiming for names like Kabayel/Pulev/Arreola/Helenius. I feel these fights are ultimately pointless and will end up being countdowns to another defeat by the hands of more seasoned heavyweight.
You also say Joyce is very underestimated then go on how he’s on a British bum train ,so which is it ? Is Joyce actually good as you say or DDD overstep you can’t have both ,the loss had to be one or the other and anyone with sense saw DDD handling Joyce all but the jabs starting swelling his eye but those shots he landed on Joyce flattens most so make up your mind . .Last edited by REDEEMER; 08-27-2021, 10:28 AM.Comment

I dont see what people see in JJ - i see Parker and Michael Hunter beating him. But not DDD.Comment

Triple D has earned a luke warm return. Why get his head crunched twice? It's the lack of self awareness, as if we don't have the film. Maybe he has an English accent he's counting on to impress. It'll work too, America is one big country townComment

I definitely didn't discern DDD (see what I did there?) beating JJ on points. JJ was landing scoring punches every round. DDD had some spectacular shots but also had rounds where he landed nothing of value & he seemed to be tiring badly from R6 onwards.
DDD is very young for a H/W & still can be good but he needs to start moving his head, working on defence, being less reliant on power. He reminds me so much of Frank Bruno, which is overall not a positive comparison. Before the JJ fight a lot of us were saying it was 50/50 with either DDD winning inside 6 or JJ winning if it went over. DDD is a young man, not carrying any excess fat, so far as I know no issues with a 'party lifestyle', so he & his corner need to think why he looks so vulnerable after about 6 rounds. I would suggest he is carrying too much muscle-mass. Boxers shouldn't look like body builders.Comment
