Thats how it goes though. White and mediocure = Great. That pattern continues with the Maignaggi"s, Froch's, and Valuev"s.
As if anyone actually rates them.

Pep was one of the smoothest cats I've seen to this day as far as footwork, upperbody movment, counters, and effectively doing this while switching stances.

He layed the blueprint for fighters that came after him, just ask Ali.

Never judge a fighter by a highlight clip.

Nah, gotta disagree. Willie Pep, Jersey Joe, Ezzard Charles....all were smart dudes way ahead of their time in regards to defence and countering. Particuarly Pep.

Can Jerry West jump higher or dribble better than Kobe Bryant?

You've got to be the 1 smoking crack. Willie Pep remains the only fighter ever in the history of boxing to win a round all 3 judges scorecards without throwing a single punch.

No and Kobe would run him out of the gym in his prime.

That is the bull**** stat I keep hearing. If Floyd did something that dumb he would maimed by media. To win a boxing match you have to box. That aint impressive to me it just sounds rediculous.

The "Pep won a round against Graves without throwing a punch" is most likely a myth.

The newspaper articles described that round as an exciting two-way action round.
