I think if Plant had a little more pop to keep Canelo honest his chances would improve a great deal. Still, I give Plant a chance but he’ll need a near perfect fight and he’ll need to be on the gas for every minute of every round.

Canelo haters are easy to spot just fabricating reality. Canelo was a Welterweight, 18 years of age, again Tyner. His fundamentals were great even back then and he didn’t “struggle.”
no need to lie! Lol

The thing is, we don't know how good or possibly great Plant is, because he's had it quite easy, regarding his opponents that he beat.
There's a lot of time to prepare, so he'd have to work on different things. He cannot make a careless mistake as Saunders did. Canelo is so tough, strong and composed, but beatable.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Plant cannot win. If he can frustrate Canelo with the long jab, stay disciplined in maintaining the distance and countering efficiently, I can see a possible path to a points victory. I do heavily favour Canelo though.
