There could be a plethora of reasons.

You rule out sparring with head gear on. Why? it’s entirely possible to injure your eye in that scenario.

We know he has a torn retina. It has been confirmed by multiple sources.

    End of story.

I dont know why you guys keep saying that when it makes no business/legacy sense for Spence to pull out.

When's the last time in boxing history that injury happens with head gear?

And sparring is not their story... actually they don't even have a story ..

Injuries happen in sparring all the time.

Fighters get cut in sparring, black eyes in sparring, worse eye damage in sparring, this is not even close to out of the ordinary.

Have you even worn headgear? What do you think? If you wear head gear you can’t receive eye damage? Because you’re mistaken.

You’re ruling out an eye injury because he had headgear on. That’s almost absurd beyond comprehension mate.

Spence has a torn retina. That’s been confirmed and not up for debate.

                Hmm...

My theory is Ugas was training for Pacquiao all this time. hes been sparring southpaws.

                Pacquiao was set up.

If that car crash didn't damage Spence eye how did it happen? sparring with headgear? Nope.

                Some shady sht goin on.

U really think Ugas is THAT GOOD to beat Manny with 10 days to train for that style? bullshett

This the same guy who couldn't figure out Porter? FOH.

Ugas been preparing for Manny for MONTHS. while Manny prepared for Spence.

Manny was bamboozled, hoodwinked and led astray.

Spence was nothing but a pawn here. he playing along.

Theres no way u can convince me Ugas is so good he can prepare for Manny style in 10 days. No way.

if thats the case then Ugas is arguably the greatest boxer ever. Pacmans style is something you need months to face. even "old" Manny.

aint sht wrong with Spence eye.
Wow. Really compelling evidence. You oughta go to law school or become a scientist. Bamboozled. That's some serious research.

remember this whole sparring talk is simply a guess. they actually don't even have a story as to the origin of this injury... if it was sparring they would've said it from day one..

also no way in hell Ugas only prepared for Pacquiao in ten days and had that success? you buy that? is Ugas the best boxer alive? this guy couldn't figure out Porter.

Pac was a shell of himself. Not physically but mentally. he lost all fire and motivation when Spence pulled out. there was zero legacy on the line agaisnt a nobody like Ugas.

he was set up. no different than when Arum set him up vs Bradley.

                  Now it was Haymon

You’ve assumed it’s not sparring for no reason. It could easily be sparring. With it without headgear. There’s a plethora of ways he could have injured his eye, how he injured it is irrelevant, the fact is he injured it.

Your entire post is baseless speculation.

Spence has an injured eye, that has been confirmed by multiple sources. End of story.
