Sonsona is still raw

Raw power is an appropriate description of Sonsona. His shots are surprisingly fast and powerful. However, Lopez exposed Sonsona's inexperience. Sonsona seems to be a one-handed puncher. He doesn't know how to setup with his jab yet, so is unable to finish a wily veteran like Lopez. Lopez was also able to hit Sonsona with counters, and hard shots that a fighter of Sonsona's speed should have been able to avoid. With a bit more polish this youg fighter has great potential.

On a side note, the nationalistic pride that some of the posters here exhibit are crass and hate inspired. We all should take pride in one's heritage and background, but there is no need to put down others. This is a sport of boxing not a competition of race or country. True boxing fans appreciate the skills regardless of who or where it comes from.
