Then it won't be a fight. Al Haymon would just take his bat and ball and go home.

Hearn didn't even bid on Canelo/Plant. So how is he going to bid on Porter/Crawford? DAZN allowed Alvarez to fight on a different platform other than their own for crying aloud. Something that would never be tolerated by Al Haymon.

I don't see DAZN bidding here. They aren't really making many big fights stateside at the moment and will they really want to put up 6-8M for a fight that they don't have future rights of either fighter?
        I really hope Triller don’t win it…

That also gives each fighter an easy out after what’s happened with Teofimo-Kambosos.

My gut says PBC likely win it but who knows…

Realistically, you're going to have to bid at least 6M to have a chance here. That is pretty much the minimum.

Coppinger reported all TR has to do here is make a bid and even if they lose, they have fulfilled their duties for Crawford's contract...So I'm very curious to see the type of offer they make lol.

And Crawford will get paid twice, once from the purse bid winner (if it's not Top Rank) and second from Top Rank who has to honor the remaining financial of his contract once it expires in October.
Really? TR have to pay Crawford even if they don't win the bid? If true, that's some helluva contract he's got!!

I think this fight happens. PBC is probably where Crawford ends up anyways, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them bid big on this. People say Crawford doesn’t sell, but he’s literally never had someone PPV worthy since being at 147. People have been waiting years for Bud to have a big matchup, seems like this will probably sell.

It is not true. From Coppinger's article:

Now, Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) could head off the ESPN platform, too. No matter which network he competes on next, Top Rank's one-fight obligation would be fulfilled as long the promoter bids on the fight, which is expected to happen.

I mean they have to bid and I'm guessing it will have to be more than the 3M or whatever Crawford is owed. But they won't put up a crazy bid for this fight, and for what reason unless Crawford signs an extension?

This fights purse bid is being streamed live so everyone in the world can see that there will be know excuse's from Al Haymon and PBC/ Showtime Shaun Porter trying to get them self out if this fight behind closed doors. There can be Know excuse's from Porter Camp now, we are going to witness who bids and how much so Porter and his advisor's can't say the money wasn't right.
my guess is if the fight doesn't happen ? Al Haymon/ PBC, Shuan Porter will pull the Covid Card on all us fight fans.
