Comments Thread For: Conor McGregor Wants To Resume Boxing, Train With Eddy Reynoso

An impromptu Instagram Live session by Conor McGregor provided a glimpse into how the MMA star plans to move forward with his combat sports career. Prompted by a comment by the trainer of the year and Canelo Alvarez coach Eddy Reynoso saying "bless you champ," the 33-year-old Irishman offered a look into his on-again, off-again relationship with boxing.

This goon getting destroyed in the UFC and knows his time is up there. He better start contacting Haymon that guy loves giving out handouts at the expense of the sport. Look at what he has done to FOX and Showtime by putting trash on those networks.

Connor needs to get with Ariza or Heredia, that's just my opinion. His stamina seems to fail him.
I wonder what Ariza is up to now?

He couldn’t win an area title. These MMA guy’s have no business in boxing. They’re simply not talented enough.

Conor has lost quite badly lately. Does he have the desire to fight, having got all that money? He has a lot to learn in boxing, maybe do exhibition type shows rather.

What Conor wants is easy fights preferably in MMA but he can't get them. One thing I give credit to UFC about is that they don't make easy fights. Dana White puts guys in almost 50-50 matchups. If UFC were boxing, Conor would take on Cowboy (which he did and Dana said was a layup for him and the only one there would be), and then just a bunch of washed fighters like Diego Sanchez, Chris Leben, etc. Conor requested that and Dana refused. So Conor only has tough matchups available to him. That's why the UFC isn't a good option for him right now.

Hes running out of options at this point, will probably end up in the WWE soon.

And yet they'd beat the **** out of boxers quickly and easily 90% of the time as long as both are allowed to use their full skillsets. Makes sense.

He got knocked out by a much smaller, older, retired, disinterested, light-punching Mayweather in his only fight. Why does he think it will go better for him if he ends up fighting someone his own age and weight class?
