He’s never been voted best of his era by any media outlet. He’s always #2 behind Floyd.

If this is the end of his career, how about you mark it by having the humility to be honest when you post.

Like I posted, he’s never been ranked ahead of Floyd in any ranking of bests of their era. If you can’t be honest, so be it.

Floyd has been in the 4 biggest grossing fights in history, at the highest price point, and sold the most ppv’s, also at the highest price point during the time period.

If you’re a real fan of the sport, regardless if you like or dislike Manny, you don’t want to see any great boxer go out poorly.

Why would anyone want Manny to be like Hearns, Ali, Louis etc? If this is his last fight then he went out with a few bumps and bruises but his mental faculties and speech are not damaged beyond repair.

Give him a fight in the Philippines against someone he can beat ( Ghost) that will not really damage him and allow him and his real fans one last hurrah.

Then he can retire and do the more important work he talked about.
