This fight wasn’t about what ugas did as much as it was about what Manny could no longer do defensively.

A harder hitter may have violently hurt Manny. Manny is fortunate ugas is light hitting, low volume counter puncher.

Spence and Crawford are just as accurate and smart, but with significantly more pop.
Manny would have had more of a chance against Crawford IMO, but also would have been KO'd if he didn't KO or drop and hurt Crawford.

Manny has always looks his best against aggressive fighters, and his worst against defensive guys.

Anyone that knows their boxing knew Ugas was more of a threat due to the style change (while being big and long himself) and the 10 days notice. Ugas was training for a southpaw since February until atleast May (there’s footage, he said he was preparing for Spence, until Pacquiao came in). Pacquiao was out 2 years and hadn’t sparred or probably even thought of an orthodox until 10 days before the fight. Common sense that there were much better odd’s of him losing this fight than Spence (who was also under long VADA and likely would’ve came in skinny and small (156lbs vs mikey)).
Maybe the last minute replacement could have had something to do with it but that was not the same Pac that I knew last night. The Manny I knew would have been throwing punches in bunches from all different angles.

Let's not fool ourselves; The Manny Pacquaio of 6 years ago would have mopped the floor with Yordenis Ugas last night. He would have been moving not only his legs but his head also.

He wouldn't have been getting hit with the very exact same punch over and over again.

      Keysandboxing Keysandboxing likes this.

Spence fighting style suits Manny better. He might win against Manny but it's not a given and if he fought toe to toe with Pac with that damaged eye, it would have ended badly

There is a good chance that Spence would have stopped Pacquiao. Ugas is not on Spence's level in any way. Shawn Porter said it himself and I'll take his word over a delusional casual fan boy like you.

...and Spence mightve been TKOd in round 1 and gone blind in his R eye.

            Ya damn *****

Porter wont even fight Crawford despite telling fans/fanboys like YOU that he would for years.

Don't take anything anyone says at face value...theres always an agenda or bias

Porter has no reason to be biased for or against Ugas or Spence. Whether he fights Crawford or not has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. So you'll have to come up with a better excuse fan boy.

                    ...what ?

Porter lost to Ugas and Spence and lost more wide to Ugas.

Porter had a very close fight w/ Spence but the KD sealed it. By picking Ugas over Spence hes also indirectly suggesting he did in fact ROB Ugas - which is what happened.

All the PBC kiddos get side payments in the form of private STOCK (of PBC) which is why they all exclusively hype each other. Its also why this era of boxing has been truly awful.

man that eyes have swollen badly,, imagine a flatfooted pac with hamstring did that to him? what more if his legs weren't overtrained. if will be a murder. unfortunately pac is old and the legs easily got injured.. no legs at all but still did a great damage to his opponent. g**** to the winner.
