Ugas did a great job tonight. Now he's a real champ!

I'd like to see Crawford fight Ugas next if Spence don't want it.
Ugas already expressed interest in fighting Crawford but as usual Crawford's side wasn't interested in taking a risk.

Exactly. No one needs to see that. Ghost can’t hurt him. It’s an easy retirement fight. His home country fans deserve to see him go out a winner.

Well then Spence vs Ugas or whoever. Man, boxing has been so damn lame these past few years.

Been following Pac since he beat Barrera, 1st time watching him in 2003. Heard of him before that though.

Not reallly shocking he lost. I knew he was gonna not gonna win. Ugas took this opportunity but Pac is 42 years old. Pac's stanina and foot movement is no longer there.

              Hope he retires.

It´s amazing how all these people in the forum think it was a good win for Ugas, who had an undeserved belt. It was a draw. Ugas received three warnings for hitting below the belt, hugged in the last rounds, pushed Pac down and most of the fight was too cautious, just landing that right hand that he studied from the Marquez fight, and most landed on the gloves. Paquiao as tricked, he trained for Porter, not Ugas and Ugas knew about the injury a long time ago so he had been training for Paquiao.

People that keep saying "pacman lucky it wasn't Spence in there tonight" know nothing about boxing. To just assume spence would've done better is absurd. Yes, Spence is a better overall fighter than Ugas, but styles makes fights. Ugas is a much better counterpuncher than Spence is. The counter and patience was what ultimately allowed Ugas to find holes in the second half of the fight.

Not saying Spence would've done worse or better than Ugas, just saying, assuming he would've done "much better" is casual fan talk.

He's just too slow now, combine that with him already being very small for the weight, and he just doesnt bring anything to the table to compete with the top guys. Ugas just stayed on the outside and peppered his face with power jabs, then patiently landing a few overhand rights each round. Manny had no ability to get inside because he has lost a step.

cong**** to Ugas who put up a great, disciplined performance. Pacquiao looked slower and was off on his timing but Ugas would have been a tough match up even for a younger Manny due to his size and solid boxing. i had Ugas winning 8-9 rounds on this one.

Time to hang them up for the legend. He’ll get destroyed by Spence, Crawford and even Thurman at this point. Its the end of an era, hopefully.
