Yeah I know he tried and trained for this fight but I imagine his long layoffs would have involved a lot of drink and drugs which would make him even more shot....

Neither is HOF material, but they were both very good fighters in their time. Comparing them to the absolute elite WWs of their day, they come up short, but no need to disrespect them and say they weren't ever any good .
