    Gatti won't Fight Floyd, EVER!!!

I get the feeling all of you guys were born yesterday....do you really think that Main Events will let their cash cow get embarassed by Floyd Mayweather? From the moment that Gatti KO'd Leija, Main Events has been trying to duck and dodge Floyd, and for good reason: Gatti has NO CHANCE!!! This is a ridiculous mismatch, and Gatti's people know it. Even if Floyd agrees to fight Gatti for twenty bucks at the Atlantic Gatti Convention Center, Gatti will still pull out of the fight somehow someway. No disrespect to Gatti the man or Gatti the fighter, I think he personally wants the fight, but his promoter and manager need to milk Arturo for all he's worth, so he won't get a fight with a superior athlete like Floyd anytime soon. If Gatti's people cared about him personally, he would have retired after the Ward trilogy, but they see nothing but $$$$, which is why a fight with Floyd won't go down, because a loss to Floyd means no more $$$$

That may be true, but the fact that Gatti signed the contract and Floyd did not disputes that viewpoint. Floyd's pride got the best of him. While he is the better fighter, he is NOT the draw here. Floyd was not happy with his end of the money, he just doesnt get it when it comes to business.

What are your talking about? Main Events were waiting for Mayweather's side to sign. They even extend the deadline. So get your fact straight before you go on a bashing spree.

Signed what contract? It takes two to tango, so 1 guy signing 1/2 a contract means zilch, remember he signed to fight at the Atlantic Gatti COnvention Center, do you really think Floyd would sign to fight in Gatti's backyard? Sucka points for you Mr Gullible

Why would Gatti's people have retired him after the Ward trilogy?? What have you seen that the rest of the boxing world hasnt, Gatti is boxing better than ever before in his career and is finally earning some money for all he as given us. And just as everyone else said, how can you say that it is Gatti that doesnt want the fight, it is Mayweather who has not come forward to sign the contract.

And why would Floyd come to AC, because he has no choice. Gatti is fan favorite and it is gatti who puts the fans in the seats.

I guess Mr. Reeno needs a further explanation on "contracts" in the boxing business. One guy signing 1/2 a contract means jack squat....after the Leija fight, Plain Events announced that Gatti's next fight would be June 11 at the Atlantic Gatti Convention Center, they did this FULLY KNOWING that Floyd wouldn't agree to fight in Gatti's backyard....so this "contract" that you mention was completely bogus, since there was no way IN HELL that Floyd would be ****** enough to sign the other 1/2 of the "contract" that would assure an armed robbery in favor of Gatti. Wake up children

Get your facts straight, Floyd had no problem with the venue, both of them spoke with this site about the fight and the date. Both of them agreed on the venue, Floyd was unhappy with the money. There was even a video interview on ESPN where Mayweather said AC makes the most sense because it means more money for them. Floyd was unhappy with the split, he wanted 50-50 and that just wasnt going to happen.
