And, as a sparring partner, the best way to get sent home is to ask the big dog to back off. If a champ wants good sparring, and you are asking him to back off, he doesn't need you.

It's called "sparring" for a reason and it is not some animal street fight. You spar to learn your ways around the ring and the such not to be an animal, you do that part in the ring which your boy still hasn't done in his past few fights.

I don't get you point' but he couldn't even get Hatton to bleed after punching him repeatedly in the face for 10 rounds, and then he goes on in sparring sessions with headgear and bigger gloves to do more damage then he does in actual fights, bull**** if you ask me.
