I have a friend who flipped a car and walked away without a scratch. He never was quite right in the head after that, though.

Any significant car crash is going to cause a concussion. That’s obvious. Football players for the longest time have suffered concussions over and over again.
When I was 7, my brother got me in a sleeper hold just playing around. I lost consciousness for several seconds. So I suffered a concussion. At the young, tender age of 7. I was fine.
Me personally have probably suffered multiple concussions playing high school football as well. You can get a concussion from regular sparring.
Boxers regularly suffer concussions I am sure. Sometimes they aren’t officially diagnosed either.
Sometimes concussions can kill you and sometimes they don’t. As long as you heal properly, you’re fine. You act like getting a concussion means you can’t ever compete again or that you’re going to be permanently effected.

A crash like that must really rattle you inside and losen a few bits up so it would be no surprise for Spence to be quite injury prone for the rest of his life but then I've heard of Boxing being the cause of detached retina's anyway.
If he was that ruined then we would of seen it in his last fight.

This exactly. Just regular sparring and training will tell you if someone is ready or not. As well as boxing Danny Garcia.A crash like that must really rattle you inside and losen a few bits up so it would be no surprise for Spence to be quite injury prone for the rest of his life but then I've heard of Boxing being the cause of detached retina's anyway.

Spence was admitted to the Hospital knocked the F out he had no football helmet on.No he wasn’t sparring with a head gear on either. I boxed as a kid had 90 Amateur bouts I had a good chin but in the Military I had a head injury where I was knock the F out and no I wasn’t boxing but after that i can’t take shots like I use to so I know what I’m talking about just watch how Spence talks slow with some slurring

Unless you fell on your head after getting choked out you didn't suffer a concussion from a sleeper hold. Losing consciousness isn't what gives you a concussion since you can get one without losing consciousness. It's from getting your brain rattled around inside your head.

I can't see where that argument is valid. Spence's chin was tested against Danny Garcia. Garcia has power. Spence seemed to still be able take a power punch. His reaction to getting hit wasn't like, let's say Roy Jones Jr. after Tarver II.
Here's my main point for why your argument isn't valid. If Spence no longer has a chin, it's safe to say his career is over. If his career is over, it would have made sense to go ahead with the Pacquiao fight and collect a super paycheck. Why get in the ring with a lesser money maker, like Keith Thurman for example......
Mathematically/Monetarily......it makes no sense........whatsoever. It makes more sense that his eye injury is legit.Comment

Correct.

Spence would have almost certainly have had a concussion from that accident. But it doesn't mean he can't take a shot now.Comment
