Not Pound for Pound…Champ for Champ 2009

By Cliff Rold - Contrary to some big money trends of late, boxing is a sport of lines. Specifically, it is a sport of lines between weight divisions whether it be the old days of eight or this day’s seventeen. The majority of fights, the bulk of aspiration, is tied to single weight divisions at a time. [details]

With so many ABC championship belts these days, that must've taken a while to make.

According to Rick Hatton, citing why he has chosen to enter the ring first, it was not only the light welterweight belt at stake during his fight against Pacman; it was also Pacman's status as P4P Champion so you can add to your list...
      11. Pacman - Pound for Pound - 2 Defenses
.... According to Ricky Hatton ...

The best way to be considered champion in one division is to beat the best champions in the division.

            Good article as usual Cliff.

So what happened with Maxboxing? I remember some links there for a while, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention at the time.

I pay 6 bucks a month for M@xboxing...they've got the most comprehensive coverage of West Coast gyms and fighters, and great traing/sparring footage. (Not a great place though for Money May fans, but still definately worth the price of a Venti White Mocha).

Floyd Mayweather should have been on that list! Five different weight class championships without a defeat!

Which title does he have now?

I woke up this morning and wondered why I didn't put Caballero on in front of Pavlik. My bad.

That was among the ******er things Hatton ever said. If he'd won, no one but him would have rated him tops in the world. P4P is not a title. It's a debate.
