Oscar and Manny went 0-2 against Floyd. Rematch or not, Floyd can always say he beat both them and they never beat him.
It is too late for a May/Pac 2. Did you see Floyd vs Logan Paul. Floyd's best days are gone.

Floyd gave rematches to Castillo and Maids a. Why not Oscar and Manny who both for argument sakes "lost" very close matches to Floyd. Both Oscar and Manny deserved a second chance. The avoidance was strong and cringy in both cases at the time.

Not only that.. Those IVs alone taints the fight for what it is..

Imagine Lance Armstrong with all those titles without those IVs..

Now Imagine Lance Armstrong with all those titles with those IVs..

Value of his wins go down the drain...

      What is worth.. Nada..

Marquez and others nobodies beaten Pac convincingly in a honorable way compared to Floyd marathon/mma/wrestling/ tactics. Floyd will never be higher than Pac based (Floyd won over Pac) on this matter alone. Pac accomplishments in boxing comparison to Floyd is like night and day.

I think they fought in a very strong era at 147.
It's hard to compare eras and it will always come down to opinion but if you look at the welterweight division that prime Oscar and Shane fought in, I would consider that a stronger division, than Floyd and Pac's.Besides Oscar and Shane, it included quality welters like
          Felix Trinidad
          Ike Quartey
          Oba Carr
          Vernon Forrest
          Jose Luis Lopez
Bu like I said, like everything in boxing, it always comes down to opinion.

It is subjective, but if you look at say between 2008-15 when May and Pac were both at 147 you had Mayweather, Pacquiao, De La Hoya, Mosley, Cotto, Marquez, Bradley. Whilst some of those guys (Oscar and Shane) were way past their primes, that’s still 7 Hall of Famers and possibly more within that same era. Then you also had Margarito, Williams, Judah in the early years and guys like Porter, Maidana, Thurman in the later years. At the very least it was a strong era IMO.

I’m not saying it’s the greatest era of all time though, possibly not better than the late 90’s-early 2000’s and definitely not as good as the late 70’s-early 80’s with Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Palomino, Cuevas etc.

You're right about Oscar and Shane being faded but even Marquez and Cotto were guys who had most of their success fighting at lower weights. The other fighters you mention were quality welters so once again it comes down to opinion. Cheers
